Brawl Stars Pins Guide

Brawl Stars Pins are in-game cosmetics introduced in the May 2020 update. They can be earned through Starr Drops or bought from the Catalog, with some Brawl Stars Pins occasionally offered in special shop deals, usually on weekends. Pins come in various rarities and can be used as emotes in team, club, friendly chats, or during battles. In battles, you can equip up to 3 Brawler Pins and 2 Player Pins. The five most recently used Brawl Stars Pins are accessible via a shortcut next to the “…” button in chat. Unlike Player Pins, Brawler Pins are exclusive to their respective Brawlers and can only be collected after unlocking that Brawler.

Brawl Stars Pins Guide: Battle Pins

In a Brawler’s menu, players can equip Brawl Stars Pins for use in battle, each featuring a unique background based on its rarity: light blue for Common, green for Rare, purple for Epic, and gold for Exclusive. Players can also assign Brawl Stars Pins Player Pins to the fourth and fifth emote slots. Skin-specific Pins can be used even without equipping the skin. In battle, Brawl Stars Pins are activated through the emote button (three dots), which can be repositioned in the Edit Controls screen. Emotes have a 10-second cooldown, are visible to both teams, and can’t be seen when a Brawler is hidden or invisible. Muting disables both sending and receiving emotes.

Brawl Stars Pins Player Pins are a set of universal emotes available to all players from the start and are not tied to any specific Brawler. These Brawl Stars Pins serve as default emotional expressions—such as Happy, Sad, or Angry—and automatically get replaced when a player obtains the corresponding Brawler-specific Pins. While most Player Brawl Stars Pins can be used in matches and team chat, the Ecstatic Pin is the only one that cannot normally be used as a battle emote.

Brawl Stars Pins Starr Pins are exclusively obtainable through Starr Drops and Daily Gifts. The Happy, Sad, Angry, GG, Clap, Phew, and Brawl Stars Pins Special Pins can be acquired randomly from Starr Drops, while the Neutral and Thanks Pins are only available as Daily Gift rewards on day 2 and day 7, respectively.
