AFK Arena Mortas Guide: Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

Powerful Buff Support

AFK Arena Mortas applies Empowerment to the highest-attack ally, boosting their Attack Rating and Attack Speed while granting lifesteal, making them a much stronger damage dealer.

Consistent Lifesteal & Sustain

His passive ability “Greed” continuously drains health from enemies, including shields and energy at higher levels, which helps sustain both himself and his team.

Effective Against Healers

His “Devilish Deal” counters healing-based enemies by redirecting healing effects to himself, weakening enemy sustain-focused strategies.

Synergy as Secondary Support

AFK Arena Mortas complements energy buffers and high DPS allies well, enhancing their damage and survivability through shared buffs.

Weaknesses

Needs Setup/Investment

AFK Arena Mortas requires strong investment in gear, Signature Item upgrades, and Eternal Engravings to reach his full potential.

Low Early Survivability

His low base survivability makes him vulnerable at the start of battles, especially if not well-protected by tanks or support.

Limited AoE Damage

AFK Arena Mortas focuses on single-target support and sustain, lacking the area-of-effect damage needed in wave-clearing situations.

Reliant on Team Balance

He performs best when paired with high-attack allies; in compositions with too many supports or low DPS, his value diminishes.

AFK Arena Mortas Guide: Conclusion

AFK Arena Mortas is a powerful Hypogean support hero whose Empowerment ability can greatly enhance a team’s primary damage dealer, while his Greed passive and Devilish Deal skill provide reliable sustain and counter enemy healing. With proper investment in his Signature Item, Furniture, and Eternal Engravings, Mortas thrives in prolonged battles as a strong secondary support. However, he remains vulnerable early in combat, and his effectiveness can be reduced in teams lacking solid frontline protection. Overall, Mortas is a high-skill, high-reward hero best suited for strategic, carry-focused formations.
