The Summer Harvest Event in Grow a Garden is a significant new addition introduced with the latest Summer Update, which also brings a complete overhaul to the seed shop, new seeds, pets, and gear.

This community-based event replaces previous events like the Queen Bee and Bizzy Bear, offering a variety of exciting gifts including the Summer Seed Pack and the Reclaimer.

How to Participate in the Summer Harvest Event

The Grow a Garden Summer Harvest is a collaborative effort where all gardeners on a server work together.

The Grow a Garden Summer Harvest activates at the beginning of every hour and runs for 10 minutes. A timer above the Harvest machine indicates the time until the next event.

Head to the central part of the lobby or map where you will find the Harvest Stand or cart, located next to the Georgia NPC. You must deposit at least one summer fruit to be eligible for the event’s rewards.

Eligible Summer Fruits for Submission

Only specific “Summer Fruits” are accepted by the Harvest Machine. These Summer Fruits are primarily obtained from the refreshed Seed Shop or from the new Summer Seed Pack. Here is a list of all Summer Fruits that can be submitted:

Earning Harvest Points

As you deposit fruits, you will earn Harvest Points, which are displayed on a common/shared board next to the machine. This means the points are tallied for the entire lobby, making it a community-based event rather than individual contribution.

Point Value: Different rarity fruits yield specific amounts of Harvest Points. Mutations may also affect the points acquired per crop.

Reward Tiers: The more summer plants your server submits within the 10-minute timeframe, the higher the tier of random rewards you can unlock. The minimum requirement to receive any rewards is 1,000 points.

Grow a Garden Summer Harvest Event Rewards

After the 10-minute event concludes, you will automatically receive a random reward from a select pool of loot that corresponds to your server’s accumulated points tier. The higher the points achieved by the server, the better the potential rewards. The event is repeatable, allowing you to participate every hour and continuously try for better rewards. Here is a list of some of the known rewards:

Rewards can include items from previous events as well as new summer-themed items like the Paradise Egg. You can check the “Rewards section” on the Points board or the Harvest Points sign to see the full list of potential rewards and your current tier.

Collaborate

Since the event relies on cumulative server points, playing with friends is highly recommended to maximize your rewards rather than relying on random players.

Prepare in Advance

Before the event triggers, frequently check Seed Shop for the new Summer seeds. Plant these seeds and allow the crops to grow, but do not sell them until the event starts. To earn massive profits and lucrative harvests, try to save money and acquire the rarest seeds available in the Summer update.

Prioritize Multi-Harvest Crops

With limited garden space, focus on planting Summer Fruits that are multi-harvestable and have a high yield. Recommended multi-harvest crops include:

Multi-Harvest Crops
Feijoa		A Divine rarity seed, though costly at 5 million Sheckles, it’s a multi-harvest crop that produces multiple fruits per cycle. Combining it with mutations like Sundried or Disco can significantly boost its sell price.
Prickly Pear		This Mythical rarity fruit not only yields numerous fruits per cycle but also sells for a good base price. Applying multiple mutations will further increase its value, helping you recoup its 555,000 Sheckles buying price.
Loquat		Another Divine rarity multi-harvest crop, the Loquat produces many fruits at once, making it excellent for both selling and contributing to the event cart. It offers a good sell price of at least 7,220 Sheckles.

If you get a Summer Seed Pack, consider using Elephant Ears (Prismatic rarity, sells for 80k Sheckles), Rosy Delight (Divine rarity, multi-harvest flower), and Cantaloupe (Legendary, good for beginners, especially with mutations).
