The Axolotl is a Mythical tier pet in Roblox: Grow a Garden, introduced on June 28, 2025, as part of the Mega Harvest event. Grow a Garden Axolotl is light blue with six external gills surrounding its head, a tail, four legs, and blush below its eyes.
How to Get the Grow a Garden Axolotl
Oasis Egg
The Axolotl has a 15% chance of hatching from an Oasis Egg. It was added specifically for the Summer Harvest event and is only available for a limited time.
Once purchased, an Oasis Egg requires a 4-hour and 10-minute wait time to hatch.
Premium Oasis Egg
Players can purchase a Premium Oasis Egg directly from the game shop using Robux. One Oasis Egg costs 149 Robux.
You can save Robux by buying in bundles: 3 eggs cost 429 Robux (saves 18 Robux), and 10 eggs cost 1,269 Robux (saves 221 Robux).
Grow a Garden Axolotl Special Ability
The Axolotl’s unique trait is its ability to make summer type fruits stay after collecting them. It has 6.76% chance for Summer type fruits to remain after being collected. As pets age by gaining XP (provided their hunger is maintained), their traits can improve, potentially offering better chances or shorter cooldowns.
The Axolotl is particularly useful for completing Summer Harvest events. Its effectiveness increases significantly when you have multiple Axolotls equipped. For instance, with eight Axolotl pets, the chance of a summer plant staying after collection can reach over 52% (52.32%). This makes it possible to get “insane amounts” of fruit from a single plant.
It can duplicate any plant that counts as a “summer plant” for the Summer Harvest, including those from the summer seed pack, new seeds like Delphinium, Lily of the Valley, Traveler’s Fruit, Aloe Vera, Guanabana, Peace Lily, and even plants from the main seed shop like Pitcher Plant and Rafflesia.
