Background
Mizuki is the sole survivor of a peaceful kitsune village that was destroyed in the war.
The young kitsune was forced to fend for herself, though she almost met her end at the hands of a hunting party.
Mizuki was ready to join her clan in death, but was rescued by a kind maiden who tended to her injuries.
Fate was cruel, however, for the hunters had managed to track them down to the maiden’s village. In their rage, they set the entire village ablaze and cut her savior down before her very eyes.
Overcome with grief, Mizuki was finally able to display her true powers, summoning a thunderstorm to extinguish the fire and strike down her enemies.
Mizuki has now taken on her saviors form, and uses her power to help those in need.
