Fossilight is a limited, multi-harvest, Divine-tier crop introduced in Grow a Garden as part of the Prehistoric Update on July 5, 2025. It is highly valued, ranking as an S-Tier plant due to its profitability and multi-harvest nature.

Grow a Garden Fossilight fruit loosely resembles a pea pod and has a distinctive appearance: a crimson base, a white layer on top, and a thin gold layer stacked above that. It features seven glowing cubes, with one large cube in the center and three smaller ones on each side.

The plant itself is a tree with tan-colored bark and leaves of various blue shades, some of which glow. The bark and leaves also have a Roblox Glue/Weld texture. Notably, the Grow a Garden Fossilight glows in the dark.

Initially, Fossilight was known as “Aeglefruit”. There is a minor visual discrepancy where the purple color on the back of the Fossilight fruit does not match the more maroon color shown in its shop image.

How to Obtain Grow a Garden Fossilight Seed

Seed Packs

Grow a Garden Fossilight is grown from a Fossilight Seed. The seeds are obtainable from specific seed packs and a special sack:

You can earn Ancient Seed Packs by completing weekly Dino Quests offered by the NPC Blaire at the Prehistoric Quest Stand in the center of the map. Blaire provides three daily quests every 12 hours.

Completing these quests rewards you with a Seed Pack and helps fill a weekly progress bar, which also yields Ancient Seed Packs at certain checkpoints. These quests involve tasks such as harvesting fruits, planting seeds, crafting items, or aging pets.

Ancient Seed Packs can be crafted at the Crafting Bench located next to Blaire. Crafting one requires a dinosaur egg and 5.5 million Sheckles, taking 60 minutes to complete. It’s estimated that by consistently crafting and completing quests, players could potentially obtain up to 200 Ancient Seed Packs per update cycle.

Exotic Ancient Seed Packs can be purchased with Robux from the Limited-Time Shop. The prices are 199 Robux for one pack, 575 Robux for three packs, and 1,699 Robux for ten packs (which may be discounted). The Exotic Ancient Seed Pack also has a 1% chance of dropping a Rainbow Sack.

Pet

Red Fox

If you have a Red Fox pet and another player on the same server is growing a Fossilight, your Red Fox might steal one of its seeds. At Level 1, this can occur every 10 minutes.

Grow a Garden Fossilight Value and Profit

Fossilight is a multi-harvest crop, meaning once planted, it continuously produces fruits.

• Base Weight: 4kg.
• Minimum Value: Ranges from 79,420 Sheckles to between 76K and 86K Sheckles.

A Fossilight weighing approximately 4.28 kg can sell for about 100,000 Sheckles. To significantly increase Fossilight’s selling value, players can utilize several in-game strategies; including, Mutations, Pets and Sprinklers.

While Fossilight is a valuable addition, it typically does not outshine the Bone Blossom in terms of raw value. However, its unique appearance and high base value make it a desirable crop for both collectors and those looking to earn Sheckles.
