AFK Arena Gear Guide: Introduction

AFK Arena Gear provides substantial bonuses to a hero’s stats when equipped, making it essential for strengthening your team and advancing through the game. The effectiveness of gear increases based on its rarity and can be further improved through enhancement. Players can obtain gear through various in-game methods, including AFK reward chests, completing quests and missions like Team Hunting, using the Fast Rewards feature, and purchasing AFK Arena gear from in-game stores with currencies such as Gold, Guild Coins, or Diamonds.

AFK Arena Gear Guide: Gear Bonuses and Faction Alignment

Gear Bonuses

The bonuses provided by AFK Arena gear increase as its rarity rises and through enhancement. Higher quality and upgraded gear grants significantly stronger stat boosts to heroes. This makes acquiring and improving gear essential for team progression and overall power scaling in AFK Arena.

A key mechanic in AFK Arena gear functionality is Faction Alignment. Some gear may come with a faction alignment, and when equipped by a hero of the same faction, the gear’s bonuses are increased by 30%, offering a noticeable advantage. Only gear of Rare+ quality or higher can have this alignment, while lower-tier gear does not support it. At the Mythic Tier 3 and Tier 4 levels, AFK Arena gear loses its faction alignment altogether. Instead, the faction bonuses are integrated into the base stats and also grant unique attribute boosts specific to the hero wearing them.

To simplify AFK Arena gear management, players can utilize Gear Resonance, a system that automatically raises all equipped low Combat Rating gear to match a set tier. This feature removes the need to upgrade or match faction-specific gear for each hero individually. It also allows for AFK Arena gear enhancement, streamlining overall optimization and improving efficiency in team development.

AFK Arena Gear Guide: Gear Enhancement

Gear Enhancement

Enhancing AFK Arena gear is a vital way to boost a hero’s stats. Gear can be improved either by using other gear as materials along with gold, or through the Gear Resonance feature. Enhancement becomes available once a hero equips gear. Only equipment of rare tier and above is eligible for enhancement, while Crude and Common gear cannot be enhanced. Additionally, Mythic Tier 3 and Tier 4 AFK Arena gear are excluded from enhancement, as their attributes are inherited from fully upgraded Mythic Tier 2 gear.

The cost of enhancement increases with each grade point, rising by 100 gold per point. Enhanced AFK Arena gear is marked by a star on the right side of the equipment icon, representing its grade level. The number of points required for each grade varies based on rarity, with requirements ranging from 60 points for basic rare gear to 72,000 points for the highest Mythic enhancements. While Mythic gear cannot be enhanced past Tier 2 through normal methods, it can still be upgraded to Tier 1 through Tier 4 using Mythic Upgrade Stones, with one stone needed per item per upgrade.

High-quality gear can be obtained from AFK rewards, Team Hunting, Fast Rewards, quests, and in-game stores. Gear from the Guild Store, Challenger Store, and Field of Stars tends to offer higher rarity and better value over time.

❓What does Faction Alignment on gear do?

Faction-aligned gear provides a 30% bonus to its stats when equipped by a hero of the same faction. Only gear of Rare+ or higher can have Faction Alignment. Mythic Tier 3 and Tier 4 gear do not retain faction alignment; their bonuses are instead built into the gear’s base stats.

❓Can I enhance all types of gear?

No. Only Rare-tier gear and above can be enhanced. Crude and Common gear cannot be enhanced, and Mythic Tier 3 and Tier 4 gear also cannot be further enhanced since their attributes are inherited from Mythic Tier 2 upgrades.

❓How does Gear Resonance work?

Gear Resonance raises all gear equipped by heroes with low Combat Ratings to match a preset gear tier. This simplifies gear leveling and reduces the need to upgrade or manage each piece manually. It also allows enhancement of gear indirectly through resonance.

❓Can Mythic gear be upgraded beyond enhancement?
