The Horned Dinoshroom is a valuable crop introduced to Grow a Garden with the Prehistoric update on July 5, 2025. It is considered a limited-time crop, available only during the Prehistoric event.
The Horned Dinoshroom is classified as a Legendary-tier, multi-harvest plant, meaning you only need to plant it once to continuously gain crops from it, providing a high return from a single seed. While it’s multi-harvest, it produces one plant at a time. This crop is classified as a Prickly, Fungus, Spicy, Prehistoric, and Stalky type crop. It appears as a small mushroom with a red pileus (cap) and a purple, bendy stem with spikes on top.

The Horned Dinoshroom seed can be obtained primarily from Ancient Seed Packs and Exotic Ancient Seed Packs. There is a 20% chance of getting a Horned Dinoshroom from either of these seed packs. Players can also obtain it through Rainbow Sack with the same chance rate of 20%.
You can buy the Exotic Ancient seed pack from the limited-time shop. Prices are: 199 Robux for one pack, 575 Robux for three packs, and 1,699 Robux for 10 packs. You can also purchase an Ancient seed pack from the new crafting bench for 199 Robux.
Prehistoric Quest
Visit Blaire at the Prehistoric Quests stall. Complete quests that reward Ancient Seed Packs. You can receive one seed pack from normal task rewards that refresh every 12 hours. Completing weekly rewards can yield a total of 19 Ancient Seed Packs.
Crafting
The crafting machine is next to the Blaire NPC. To craft one Ancient Seed Pack, you need one dinosaur egg and 5.5 million Sheckles. There is a one-hour waiting period for the crafting process to complete.
Pets
Red Fox
If you have a Red Fox pet and another player on your server is growing a Horned Dinoshroom, your fox might steal one of its seeds. A Level 1 Red Fox has a chance to do this every 10 minutes.
Raccoon
A raccoon has the ability to steal (duplicate) other players’ crops. Instead of seed, your raccoon can give you a Horned Dinoshroom crop in game. This pet can be acquired through a Night Egg.
