The Brains.. event is a new, Admin-triggered event introduced in Roblox: Grow a Garden. It is also referred to as the “Zombie Invasion” event. This event was added during the Pet Mutations Update on July 12, 2025.
The event is initiated by a massive Jandel NPC, who summons a horde of zombies onto the island. This event cannot be triggered manually, only the admins and devs can run the said event.
Grow a Garden Brains..: In-Game Experience
When the Grow a Garden Brains.. event is active, the sky turns dark green. Dirt holes appear near gardens, which indicate the points from where the zombies emerge.
The zombies will charge towards your crops and begin to mutate them. Zombies can also infect players. If you become infected, you can then infect other players.
Grow a Garden Brains..: Infected Mutation
The Brains.. event specifically introduces a new mutation for your crops called “Infected”. Crops with the Infected mutation will have a green tint and an electrifying green aura.
This mutation significantly increases the sale value of your crops. The Infected mutation provides a 75x multiplier to the crop’s base value. For instance, a plant with a base selling price of 100,000 Sheckles will sell for 750,000 Sheckles with the Infected mutation. This makes it one of the most profitable mutations to have.
The Infected mutation is stackable, meaning your crop can have other mutations in addition to Infected, leading to an even greater increase in crop value. While highly profitable, the Infected mutation (75x) is not the most valuable mutation in Grow a Garden.
