The Zen Rocks are Mythical crops introduced to Roblox: Grow a Garden as part of the Zen Update on July 19, 2025. They are a unique addition to the game, as they are classified as a crop but are not actually a plant or fungus; instead, they appear as a pile of stones, making them the first crop of their kind.
Visually, Grow a Garden Zen Rocks are a tall stack of monochrome or brownish rocks of different widths, designed to add a calm, tranquil aesthetic to your garden.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Zen Rocks

Zen Seed Pack
Zen Rocks is grown from a Zen Rocks Seed. These seeds can be obtained from either a Zen Seed Pack or an Exotic Zen Seed Pack.
Grow a Garden Zen Rocks has a 10% drop chance when opening a Zen Seed Pack.

Another way to acquire the Zen-themed seeds; including Grow a Garden Zen Rocks, is through Exotic Zen Seed Pack, which can be purchased in In-Game Shop. 1 Pack costs 199 Robux, 3 Packs for 575 Robux, and 10 Packs for only 1,699 Robux.

You can also acquire Zen Seed Packs by submitting fruits with the Tranquil mutation to Zen Channeller [Unk the Monk NPC]. This action increases a progress bar, and as it fills, you receive Zen-themed rewards, which often include a Zen Seed Pack.

The Tranquil mutation can be acquired when the Zen Aura event occurs, or applied to pets using a Tranquil Pet Mutation Shard, or by obtaining the Tanchozuru pet from a Zen egg.
Alternatively, Zen Seed Packs can be purchased from the Zen Shop (accessed via the Raccoon NPC) for 12 Chi Points.

Chi Points are earned by submitting Tranquil mutated fruits to the Zen Shop NPC, and can also be acquired by leveling up the progress with Unk the Monk.

Despite being a single-harvest crop, Zen Rocks offer a sizeable payout due to their high base sell value. To maximize your earnings from Zen Rocks, it is recommended to combine them with certain mutations, the sell value of Zen Rocks can be significantly increased.
Since they are single-harvest, you should aim to plant as many Zen Rocks as possible to generate more money, especially given their high base value. For more comprehensive guides, visit Theria Games (Grow a Garden).
