The Beanstalk Event in Roblox: Grow a Garden is a cooperative in-game challenge introduced with the Garden Guide update. It allows players to work together to grow a massive beanstalk and earn a variety of rewards, including access to a special vendor.

Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event is the primary feature of a recent Grow a Garden update, challenging players to collaboratively grow a colossal beanstalk. By donating specific plants, players contribute to its growth, which eventually opens up a new area to explore.

Upon reaching the top, players can meet Goliath, a giant NPC, from whom they can purchase unique rewards using Sheckles. The entire lobby can contribute to the beanstalk’s growth.

How to Grow the Beanstalk

Locate Jack

The event centers around a small beanstalk sprout in the middle of the lobby, near an NPC named Jack. Jack sits behind a desk with a leaderboard.

Jack will request specific plant types, such as “Woody,” “Berry,” or “Prickly”. The type of plant requested changes hourly. You can check your Garden Guide for full details on plant types you’ve discovered. Some plants belong to multiple categories, like blueberries, which are both fruit and berry types.

Contribute Plants

To contribute, hold the specific crop Jack is asking for and select the “Feed this to the beanstalk” option, or choose “Feed all my plants to the beanstalk” to submit your entire inventory of required plants at once.

Earn Points

You’ll receive points for each plant donated, with the number of points determined by the plant’s rarity. Higher rarity plants generally provide greater progress.

Tip: Strawberries and blueberries are effective for both berry and fruit plant requests due to their fast growth and availability. Plants with more mutations or larger sizes will also yield more points.

The beanstalk requires a total of 900 points from all contributing players to grow. Once grown, it remains active for approximately 20 minutes, so you must be ready to climb quickly.

Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event itself resets every 60 minutes, at which point players will need to start donating plants again. There’s a reminder 30 seconds before it decays. There’s also a 15-minute cooldown for growing a beanstalk, limiting how often you can lobby hop for rewards.

Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event: Contributor Rewards

By participating and contributing to the beanstalk’s growth, you can earn various rewards. A bonus reward is given to the player who feeds the most plants to the beanstalk and is at the top of the leaderboard.

Once the beanstalk is grown, you can climb it, and along the way, you will find five glowing pods (orbs) that contain special rewards.

These green glowing balls must be collected by interacting with them before the beanstalk decays. Here is a list of potential rewards you can receive from these glowing pods:

Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event: Goliath’s Goods

At the top of the beanstalk, you’ll find Goliath and his shop, Goliath’s Goods. Initially, only the Sprout Seed Pack is available for purchase.

However, with each successful contribution to growing the beanstalk, you will unlock new items in his shop. You need to contribute a total of seven times to unlock all items in Goliath’s shop.

You can purchase items using Sheckles, the in-game currency. The shop automatically restocks every hour, and this also resets the manual restock price.

Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event: Portal

After contributing to the beanstalk’s growth seven times, a special portal will unlock in the center of the lobby, allowing you to instantly teleport to Goliath’s Goods without climbing.

You can also unlock a new garden gate skin by contributing to the beanstalk approximately 9 or 10 times, found on a table at the top of the beanstalk.

There are a total of 20 plant types in Roblox: Grow a Garden, and knowing which plants belong to which type is crucial for efficient contribution to the Grow a Garden Beanstalk Event.
