Celebrating an NPC’s birthday is a great way to unlock rare and useful rewards in Roblox: Grow a Garden. When you gift an NPC a cake on their special day, you receive unique items and increase your friendship level with them.
Keep an eye on the corner of your screen for the flash of a pink birthday cake icon. When it appears, you’ll know it’s time to celebrate an NPC’s birthday and unlock unique rewards.
To receive the special Grow a Garden NPC Birthday rewards, you must feed the NPC the prepared cake only on their birthday.
NPCs Birthday
A single in-game day is understood to equal four hours in real time. This unique time cycle causes in-game dates to shift to real-time equivalents.

When an NPC’s birthday arrives, their vendor stall will often be decorated with balloons and a banner that reads ‘Happy Birthday!’.
Preparing a Grow a Garden NPC Birthday Cake
To join the fun and give the NPC a birthday cake, you’ll first need to unlock the Cooking Kit (Cosmetic). This item allows you to bake food, including the cakes required for the celebration. The Cooking Kit can be acquired through different methods;

Missed out on the grand Cooking Event? Don’t worry! While all active players at the time received the Cooking Kit (Cosmetic) for free, new players can still acquire this essential item through other methods.
Crop Achievements
Completing some core plants achievements can reward you with the Cooking kit; particularly, Common, Rare, and Mythical Achievements.

Cosmetic Shop
If you’re lucky enough, there is a small chance to purchase it in Cosmetic Shop. Be ready to spend a fortune—it costs 1,000,000 Sheckles. Just like other Prismatic items, you won’t see it in stock very often, so you’ll need to check the shop regularly if you hope to snag one.
Players can start cooking food, once they acquire the Cooking Kit. For the Grow a Garden NPC Birthday, players must feed the celebrant a cake.
