Rina Build Guide

Rina, also known as Alexandrina Sebastiane, is an S-Rank Agent from the Victoria Housekeeping Company Faction in Zenless Zone Zero. She is a versatile DPS-Support agent with the Electric Attribute and a Support Fighting Style, making her highly effective in both offensive and supportive roles. Rina is a Standard Agent, meaning she can be obtained from any character banner. One of her key strengths is her ability to provide a PEN Ratio boost to the entire team, making her an essential asset for enhancing the team’s damage output.
Rina’s skills are designed for both damage and support. Her Basic Attack, Whack the Dimwit, allows her to order Drusilla and Anastella to attack up to four times, dealing Physical and Electric DMG, while other actions won’t interrupt the combo. Her Shoo the Fool skill calls Drusilla and Anastella back to perform a ranged attack, increasing anti-interrupt capabilities. Rina’s Dodge abilities include Dress Adjustment, which provides rapid invulnerability, and Sudden Surprise (Dash Attack), where Drusilla and Anastella execute a piercing attack, dealing Physical DMG. Her Bangboo Callback (Dodge Counter) triggers an explosion dealing Electric DMG when activated after a Perfect Dodge, also providing invulnerability.
In her Assist abilities, Rina can trigger Electric DMG through Duple Meter Allemande and Evasive Assist: Triple Meter Courante, which also grants invulnerability. Her Special Attack has Anastella performing multiple downward slashes for massive Electric DMG, and her Chain Attack unleashes a ball-shaped electrical field dealing substantial Electric DMG while granting Rina invulnerability. Rina’s Ultimate has her order Drusilla and Anastella to spin forward, dealing massive Electric DMG while also regenerating Energy for other squad members.
Rina’s Core Skills are pivotal for maximizing her potential. Mini Destruction Partner increases the PEN Ratio of the squad when Drusilla or Anastella attacks, while Banquet of Perfection boosts Shock duration and Electric DMG for characters sharing the same Attribute or Faction.
In Rina’s Mindscape, several abilities enhance her combat effectiveness, including A Dance Duet, which increases the effect of her Core Passive, and B Master’s Paragon, which boosts her DMG upon entering combat. Needle and Hammer improves her Energy regeneration when both Drusilla and Anastella are deployed, and Stormy Night’s Fright increases the squad’s Electric DMG when a special attack hits the enemy.
For her W-Engine, Rina’s signature weapon, Weeping Cradle, enhances Energy Regen and boosts squad DMG against struck targets. Slice of Time is a strong A-Rank alternative that generates Energy and Decibels for the equipper. For Drive Discs, the Swing Jazz (4-piece) set is ideal, enhancing Energy Regen and boosting squad DMG during Chain Attacks or Ultimates. The Puffer Electro (2-piece) set increases PEN Ratio, making it highly effective for Rina. Other viable sets include Thunder Metal for personal damage and Freedom Blues for Anomaly Setup.
For optimal performance, prioritize the following main stats on Drive Discs: ATK%/Anomaly Proficiency on the 4th slot, PEN Ratio on the 5th, and Energy Regen/Anomaly Mastery on the 6th. Aim for a PEN Ratio of 96% to fully maximize Rina’s buff, followed by increasing her personal damage.
When it comes to substats, focus on PEN, Anomaly Proficiency, and ATK% for the best results. For skill leveling, prioritize Rina’s Core Passive, followed by her EX Special and Ultimate for maximum damage and team support.
Rina is versatile in team compositions, excelling in Electric-based teams but also serving as a valuable general Support. Some effective team setups include the Mono Electric team with Grace, Anton, and Rina; the Victoria Housekeeping team with Ellen, Lycaon, and Rina; and a strong Free-to-Play (F2P) team with Anton, Anby, and Rina.
Rina’s Skills

Rina, a support character in Zenless Zone Zero, commands her Bangboo companions, Drusilla and Anastella, to deal damage and provide buffs to the team. Her skills are tailored to enhance both her offensive and defensive capabilities while ensuring her squad’s survivability and energy management.
Rina’s Basic Attack consists of two key moves. Whack the Dimwit allows her to command Drusilla and Anastella to attack up to four times, dealing Physical and Electric DMG. Performing other actions will not interrupt this combo. The second move, Shoo the Fool, calls back Drusilla and Anastella for a ranged attack, dealing Electric DMG and increasing Anti-Interrupt capabilities during use.
For Dodge abilities, Rina has three useful skills. Dress Adjustment is a rapid dodge that grants invulnerability during its use. Sudden Surprise (Dash Attack) is activated by pressing Basic Attack during a dodge, where Rina orders Drusilla and Anastella to perform a piercing attack dealing Physical DMG. Bangboo Callback (Dodge Counter), activated during a Perfect Dodge, has Rina command Drusilla and Anastella to spin forward and trigger an explosion, dealing Electric DMG while providing invulnerability.
Rina’s Assist skills further enhance her team’s performance. Duple Meter Allemande (Quick Assist) activates when the character on the field is launched, ordering Drusilla and Anastella to spin forward and deal Electric DMG, while granting invulnerability. Evasive Assist: Triple Meter Courante is triggered when the character on field is about to be attacked, where Rina dodges the enemy’s attack and activates the Vital View, providing invulnerability. Lastly, Assist Follow-Up: Quadruple Meter Gavotte is activated by pressing Special Attack after an Evasive Assist, where Rina commands Drusilla and Anastella to generate an electrical vortex dealing Electric DMG and providing invulnerability during the skill.
Rina’s Special Attack includes Beat the Blockhead, where Anastella performs a downward smash dealing Electric DMG and increasing Anti-Interrupt level. Her EX Special Attack: Dimwit Disappearing Trick has Anastella execute multiple downward slashes, dealing massive Electric DMG, while Rina is invulnerable during the attack.
For Chain Attack, Rina triggers Code of Conduct, where Drusilla and Anastella generate an electrical field dealing massive Electric DMG. During this attack, they cannot perform other actions but can be recalled to Rina’s side via Shoo the Fool, and Rina remains invulnerable.
Rina’s Ultimate is The Queen’s Attendant, which is activated when the Decibel Rating is at maximum. Drusilla and Anastella spin forward and deal massive Electric DMG, while being unable to perform other actions. When activated, all other squad members recover 10 Energy, and the next character to switch in recovers an additional 20 Energy. Rina remains invulnerable during this skill.
Rina’s skillset is specifically designed to deal consistent Electric DMG while offering powerful support to her team. She excels at providing strategic advantages, such as invulnerability during key moments, which allows her to safely execute attacks or avoid damage without putting herself at risk. Her ability to command her Bangboo companions, Drusilla and Anastella, to deal significant damage in both Physical and Electric forms further enhances her overall output.
This combination of offensive power and defensive support makes Rina a highly versatile agent. Additionally, Rina can regenerate energy for the team, allowing for more frequent use of powerful abilities and keeping her allies in the fight longer. Her skills also include buffs that increase her team’s overall PEN Ratio and Electric DMG, amplifying the damage potential of her entire squad. With her mix of sustained damage output, utility, and protective abilities, Rina is indispensable in a variety of team compositions, especially for Electric-focused setups or general support roles.
Rina Skill Priority
When prioritizing Rina’s skills, the Core Passive (Talents) should be your first focus. This passive ability enhances the effectiveness of her support role, making it vital to upgrade early.
Following that, focus on leveling up her Special Attack, as it provides strong Electric DMG and plays a key role in her damage output. After the Special Attack, the next priority should be her Ultimate, which not only deals massive Electric DMG but also enhances her Chain Attack damage. The Basic Attack comes next; while it provides useful damage, it is not as critical unless Rina is used actively on the field. Finally, Assist and Dodge should be the lowest priorities. The Assist skill provides a small bonus to damage and Daze, while Dodge only benefits Rina if she is frequently on-field.
