Introduction

This guide will teach you about the different classes within Warrior, when to use them, what stats to prioritise, the prayer statue buffs to focus on, relics, pals, and finally skills for PVE and PVP.

Warriors are strong against Archers, and weak against Mages.

Legend of Mushroom Warrior Class Guide: PVP in LoM

During this guide, the length of game is split into early, mid, and end, this refers to the level you are in Legend of Mushroom. Early is levels 0-100, mid is 100-120, and end is 120+.

Claymore Wielder Class Guide

Overview

This class is the worst of the six classes, until level 120+, at which point it becomes the better. The main stats to focus for this class are regen, counter, defense, and damage resistance. This class is mainly used for PVP but can be useful for normal PVE battles (not boss), chrono tower, and bighead event.

Gear Stat Priorities

On the gear you should look to achieve the follow stat priority:

Regen > Counter > Counter Damage > Attack > Defense

Prayer Statue

Before you unlock S-tier stats on the prayer statue, you should focus global stats – regardless of what class you are. Once you unlock S-tier, then you should look to prioritise these stats:

Counter Damage > Global Attack > Global HP

it is preferable that you work towards x2 Counter Damage x1 Global Attack & x2 Global HP

Relics

Relics are heavily dependant on what skills / pets you are using, although a breakdown of skills / pets will be shown later. The relics are as follows:

  • Fossil: Depends on what Pals you are using
  • Treasure: Depends on what Pals you are using
  • Book: PVP use Stonewrite Tome or Flame Book, for boss PVE use Healing Book.
  • Statue: Depends on what Skills you are using
  • Necklace: Depends on what Skills you are using

Pals

The Pals section is split into early, mid, and end game. You should use the highest rarity of Pal that you have available of the ones listed below. If you do not have the recommended pals below, check out our recommendations for your class a whole (Warrior) by clicking here.

Berserker Class Guide

Overview

This class is okay, until level 120+, at which point it becomes the best of the six classes (joint with Claymore Wielder). The main stats to focus for this class are regen, counter, attack, and crit rate. This class is an all-rounder, and is possibly the best class for PVP.

The best route for a Legend of Mushroom Warrior player is the Swordmaster – the reason this class is better than Berserker is because Berserkers have the skill that launches opponents in the air, if this happens they won’t be able to attack you which is bad because warriors mainly focus on counter-attacks this is where all your damage comes into play so you want to be attacked and damaged.

Ideal Gear Stats for Legend of Mushroom Warrior

  • Counterstrike
  • Crit Rate

If you have Supreme gear for example, and you want to upgrade to Aurous, and you have crit/counter on each gear piece then you can make the swap for the Aurous. Only do this if it has either counter or crit-rate it doesn’t necessarily have to have both, however you do not want to make this swap on every gear piece as it will ruin your stats. Try to keep it between 2-3 gears with at least 1 of the stats mentioned, then try focus on getting both stats.

The reason I suggest the stop for only a few is because you don’t want to ruin your completely flawless counter/crit, however, the jump for the additional HP is worth it as that’s your base HP. Any bonuses you have from talent tree, runestones etc. will all multiply this value giving you a significant increase in health.

Now let’s discuss some skills that you can use however keep in mind it all varies depending on your opponent. A perfect example of this would be Warrior vs Mage or Warrior vs Archer. The reason I say this is take Warrior vs Archer for example, it is good for warriors because you’re going to be attacked a lot and that will make you deal more damage. When you are Warrior vs Mage you’re attacked significantly less due to them not having combo, and they’re most likely going to try stun lock you – so what can you do?

Here is my advice to help you improve your Mushroom experience:

Legend of Mushroom Warrior PVE Build

Skills for Legend of Mushroom Warrior PVE Build

You should look to use the following skills when you are playing as the Legend of Mushroom Warrior class and looking to PVE:

Legend of Mushroom Warrior class PVE build skills: Blitz Assault; Clone Strike; Easy Breezy; Worldly Snare; and Natures Renewal
  • Blitz Assault
  • Clone Strike
  • Easy Breezy
  • Worldly Snare
  • Natures Renewal

Skill Explanation:

  • Blitz Assault is a good and essential skill, this skill can still proc counter strike attacks even when immunity is active which works well for warriors.
  • Clone strike is a good skill because this skill takes your stats such as counter strike % and crit rate % this skill is perfect for warriors.
  • Easy Breezy, we want to use this skill to reduce the opponent’s attack damage, we don’t want to decrease attack speed because we want to be attacked however you do want to reduce the amount of damage you take to survive longer.
  • Worldly Snare this is a very good skill if you have a high crit rate, this will increase the amount of damage that you deal to the bosses or the waves.
  • Natures renewal is a good skill for PVE it’s less effective in PvP however on PVE the healing percentages are higher providing you with more HP.

Pals for Legend of Mushroom Warrior PVE Build

You should look to use the following pals when you are playing as the Legend of Mushroom Warrior class and looking to PVE:

Legend of Mushroom Warrior class PVE build pals: Angel Deer; Electric Pup; Treasure Dragon; Rainbow Guardian; and Hipster Tortoise
  • Angel Deer
  • Electric Pup
  • Treasure Dragon
  • Rainbow Guardian (If don’t have use Hydrosprite)
  • Hipster Tortoise

Pal Explanation:

  • Angel Deer, this skill is used to reduce the amount of damage dealt so you survive longer.
  • Electric Pup this pal is vital for warriors as it allows you to deal more counter-strike damage as well as regain lost HP in a battle, this is perfect flying through stages.
  • Treasure Dragon, this skill is used for giving a large upscale in your crit damage allowing you to deal a large amount of damage for having this equipped.
  • Rainbow Guardian this skill is good because it will provide you with 12% counter strike which will allow you to proc counter strike more frequently as well as 120% more counter-strike damage and finally
  • Hipster tortoise, this skill is good for going against bosses or when you’re dying on the last wave before you get to the boss. This will provide you with a shield equal to 36% of your max HP which will allow you to reach the boss wave to then defeat it.

Legend of Mushroom Warrior PVP Builds

PVP Warrior vs Archer

Warrior vs Archer – why is this so different to other presets? Well, with archers they attack you a lot more frequently than say Mages, who don’t have combo.

So what’s the trick? Well there are 2 important factors you need to remember and that is;

  1. You want to get hit as frequent as possible, so don’t decrease their attack speed
  2. Since you can’t decrease their attack speed as it will make you deal less damage, you want to decrease their attack damage.

So let’s discuss some skills, pals and relics that can be used.

Legend of Mushroom Warrior Build Versus Archer Review

This loadout is a mix of defense with some offense for the Legend of Mushroom Warrior class. Such as Easy Breezy and Angel Deer pal/skill to reduce the amount of damage taken, you have Blitz Assault which counters opponents even when Immunity Shield is active. You have Hipster/Shroom Shield as additional damage, if you’re fighting a Crossbow opponent and you aren’t healing enough/surviving long enough then these 2 can be used. If you’re dying just before they do, then you can change Hipster Tortoise to Hero Bird or change Shroom Shield to a DPS skill such as Wild Gust that increases your attack damage.

PVP Warrior vs Mage

Legend of Mushroom Warrior deal a lot less damage to mages, this is because Mages tend to have more HP than Warriors. They love to regenerate, especially with their lower skill cooldown rate. Mages attack warriors less than Archers so that means Warriors will deal less damage to the opponent.

Legend of Mushroom Warrior Build Versus Mage Review

This loadout is purely an attack on the skills aspect, the reason for this is if you have a prolonged battle they’re just going to heal or stun you, so the optimal strategy is use Blitz for support and the other skills for pure damage and increasing your DPS. The pals are mainly damage orientated, the Angel Deer is there to decrease the amount of damage that you take and the Hero Bird can speed up your casting speed, which gives you an advantage with casting your Blitz Assault before they launch a critical skill.

Legend of Mushroom Warrior Back Accessory

Upgrading the Back Accessory for Legend of Mushroom Warrior

Legend of Mushroom Back Accessory Feathers

The best way to upgrade this talent is by doing 71, 61,61 then 71,71,61 and then levels 71 71 71 and 81,71,71. The reason I suggest leveling it like this is because on every 10 levels there is a significant increase to that stat so don’t level all 3 stats equally, focus on one and level them in groups of 10.

Tame Beasts Talent Tree

Legend of Mushroom Tame Beasts Talent Tree

Understanding the Talent Trees

Fury – This gives a large increase to your attack damage, attack speed and crit dmg, this is vital for Legend of Mushroom Warrior players.

Archery – The additional crit dmg here is good, but not as important as the fury upgrade due to no attack speed increase or basic attack dmg, however this is a good talent to aim for.

Sorcery – Aiming for the end talent isn’t entirely necessary, however it will still provide you a 10% minimum ATK damage at the start of the battle, which could help if you have other increases to stack on top of it.

Tame Beasts – Upgrade your basic attack, hp and def here and the only upgrade worth aiming for is reducing all enemies regen and healing amount, this will help when going against other warriors or mages.

Artifact Runestones for Legend of Mushroom Warrior

Here you want x2 Global Counter Runes as well as x4 Crit DMG Runes.

The official name of these runestones may vary depending on your game version, however the effects are the same, Crit and Counter DMG.

Legend of Mushroom Runestone Attributes Hear of Resilience
Legend of Mushroom Runestone Attributes Blazing Roar

The main sub-attributes you want on your runestones are the following:

Legend of Mushroom Runestone Attributes
Legend of Mushroom Runestone Attributes

Set 1: You can only have HP as a sub-stat here.

Set 2: You can only have ATK as a sub-stat here.

Set 3: You can only have DEF as a sub-stat here.

Set 4: This is damage based, I recommend Counter DMG for a sub-stat.

Set 5: This is completely res based options is Counter Res, Combo Res, Basic Attack Res, Pal DMG Res, If you’re struggling with warriors go for Counter Res, if archers go for Combo Res, if you want both and not swap over time you can use Basic Attack Res.

Step 6: You want Crit DMG Bonus as a sub-stat for this slot.

To conclude on Artifact Runestones, you want the sub-stats mentioned above, and the runestone pieces you want are as follows:

  • X4 Crit DMG Runestone (+10% Crit DMG)
  • X2 Counter DMG Runestone (+5% Combo DMG)

The goal is to get Counter DMG / Crit DMG on Ideal Runestone Pieces.

Souls for Legend of Mushroom Warrior

Next let’s discuss souls. First we will begin with the priority order of unlocking pink souls, I will list them in descending order (meaning top first bottom last)

  • Global ATK + Healing Rate
  • Global HP + HP Regen Bonus
  • Defense + Boss DMG Resistance
  • Basic ATK + Skill DMG
  • Combo DMG + Boss DMG
  • Counter DMG + Pal DMG
  • Crit Res + Pal Crit
  • Crit DMG + Skill Crit DMG
  • Counter + Pal DMG

Explanation for this priority ranking:

Counter DMG + Pal DMG

  • Pink Counter DMG vs Red Counter DMG, The % does not increase when fused into a red soul however the Pal DMG does, Pals can still attack when you’re stunned, airborne or disarmed.

           Global ATK + Healing Rate

  • Pink Global Attack vs Red Global Attack. Pink has a higher global attack value and will increase your damage output. The healing rate is good as it procs on every attack.
Legend of Mushroom Runestone Effects

Global HP + HP Regen Bonus

  • Pink HP vs Red HP. Pink HP has a higher base value than the red soul, you will also be gaining HP Regen which will heal a % of your HP every second the battle goes on.
Legend of Mushroom Runestone Effects

      Defense + Boss DMG Res

  • Pink Defense vs Red Defense, Pink Defense has a higher value than red Defense, you will also be gaining a Boss DMG Resistance which is good to help you increase your standing against bosses especially Dark Trials.

             Basic ATK + Skill DMG

  • Basic ATK does not increase your combo dmg Pink vs Red does not change the value, it is the same increase for both rarities meaning all you will be gaining is Skill DMG buff which is good to increase your overall Skill DMG output dealing more damage at the start of the battle before shields activate.

Combo DMG + Boss DMG

  • The Combo here is useless since you are a warrior however Red Boss DMG vs Pink Skill DMG increases the DMG this is super helpful for numerous things such as Soul Trial, Dark Trial, Lamp Thief, Server Showdown Boss etc. (Basically all bosses)

Now we have discussed the main ones, we will discuss the ranking of the last three.

I would say only get these over time and there is no rush in acquiring them. The reason is because Crit Res + Crit DMG + Counter DMG are all the same whether they are Pink or Red so you aren’t getting additional %’s for upgrading this to pink. All you would be gaining is Pal DMG, Skill Crit DMG and Pal Crit DMG.

Pal DMG is somewhat pointless for Archers and isn’t something to worry about it. It will help deal small amounts of additional damage, however, it’s not a high priority so the only other thing you’re missing is Skill Crit DMG. If you have some Skill Crit % on your gears for a small change to activate a Skill Crit then it will be worth upgrading this one over the others, but other than that it’s not something to stress or worry about.

Next, let’s discuss upgrading. The highest priority would be Crit DMG and Combo DMG, these 2 values are very important to increase your damage output, You will also want to increase your DEF & Crit res quite a bit also.

For example, let’s say in this scenario my highest soul level is 30. I would suggest something similar to this:

  • Combo DMG Level 1
  • Crit DMG Level 30
  • Global HP Level 30
  • Global ATK Level 25 (Around 60-70% of your highest level soul)
  • Def Level 20 (Around 60% Of the level of your highest soul)
  • Crit Res Level 20 (Around 60% Of the level of your highest soul)
  • Basic ATK DMG level 1  (Unless you have it pink) then maybe 50%-40% the level of your main souls).
  • Counter DMG Level 30 This is your highest priority soul for additional counter DMG.

Now let’s discuss sub-stats for pink souls for each individual soul:

  • ATK Soul – Global Combo DMG
  • Crit DMG Soul – Global Combo DMG
  • Combo Soul – Global Combo DMG
  • Basic ATK Soul – Global Combo DMG
  • HP Soul – Skill DMG Res
  • Def Soul – Airborne
  • Crit Res Soul – Skill DMG Res
  • Counter Soul – Ignore Airborne

There is a specific set of attributes you can actually have for each individual soul, the ones that are Skill DMG Res are mainly res based meaning you can have Combo, Counter, Pal DMG Res, or even Pal Crit Rate. The only attribute that’s going to help you the most will most likely be skill dmg res as every class has skill dmg so this will help against all classes.
