The Today’s Recommended Film event ran from February 21, 2025, to March 3, 2025, offering players a unique opportunity to engage with New Eridu’s vibrant film culture. To participate, players needed to have reached Inter-Knot Level 15 and completed the Agent Story Mole in the Hole (I). While not mandatory, it was also suggested to complete the latest story quest to gain full access to the Reverb Arena, the main location for the event.
During the event, players could visit the Reverb Arena and find Heddy at the Random Play promotion booth to begin their task of recommending videotapes. Acting as an employee of Random Play, the player was responsible for helping customers find movies suited to their tastes by carefully analyzing their requests and selecting the most fitting films. Each recommendation required a keen understanding of customer preferences, and successfully matching a customer with their ideal movie provided rewards that could be used for character progression and other in-game benefits.

These playlists are Popular Movies, In the Black Dome, Worldly Affairs, The Undefeated Heart, and Exciting Stories: Fun-Sized. To progress through the event, players must successfully complete the previous playlist and wait for the designated unlock time to access the next one. Each playlist introduces eight different customers, each with specific movie preferences. To claim all available rewards for a level, players must correctly match at least five customers with their ideal films. Since the order of customers appears randomly, paying close attention to customer names and their corresponding film preferences is crucial.

In Level 1: Popular Movies, players will assist customers looking for widely recognized and well-loved films. Rain is best matched with Encore, while Snap and Billy Kid both prefer Oh~ Sweetie. Rewards

To obtain the full list of rewards, a total of 5,000 points must be accumulated throughout the event. Since each correct answer grants 1,000 points, achieving at least five correct recommendations per stage is necessary to maximize rewards.
The rewards for completing the event include:
300 Polychromes – A premium currency used for various in-game purchases.
5 Boopons – Essential items for acquiring Bangboo units.
10 Specialized Burn Chips – Used for upgrading and enhancing characters.
20 Senior Investigator Logs – Valuable materials for character progression.
200,000 Dennies – The primary currency used for purchases and upgrades.
In addition to these rewards, participating in the event contributes to New Eridu City Fund “Season Tasks” under the 2025-01-22 New Eridu City Fund. The City Fund EXP earned from these tasks does not count toward the weekly experience limit of 10,000, making this event a great way to gain extra progress. Completing all movie category recommendations in the event provides an additional 1,600 City Fund EXP, further boosting progression in the City Fund system.
