Each battle begins with players receiving a hand of 10 random hero cards, from which they must select 5 heroes to form their team. The preparation phase is divided into three strategic stages. In the first stage, players select 2 heroes, followed by another 2 heroes in the second stage. Finally, in the third stage, players choose the last 1 hero to complete their formation. During the preparation phase, selected heroes appear on the left side of the battlefield. However, when the battle starts, heroes may enter from the right side due to the matchmaking system.
All heroes are drawn from a uniform hero pool and cannot be modified. Each hero is set to level 300, Ascended tier and comes equipped with unenhanced Mythic T2 gear (without factional bonuses), a level 30 Signature Item, 9 pieces of Mythic Exclusive Furniture, and level 60 Elder Tree attributes and abilities. The number of assistance opportunities a player has depends on their server rank players ranked 1-5 get 5 assists, those ranked 6-15 get 3 assists, and players ranked 16-50 receive 1 assist. However, the same player cannot assist you more than once per day.
Players who secure a spot in the top 1000 on the AFK Arena Battle of Blood leaderboard will earn a Fortune Chest containing a generous amount of Hero’s Essence. Rewards are calculated twice during the event, and each guild can receive only one Fortune Chest per calculation. If multiple guild members meet the criteria, the chest is awarded based on the member with the highest rank.
