AFK Arena Envydiel – Venomous Desire is the latest Awakened Hypogean hero introduced in AFK Arena. He is an Agility-based Ranger whose abilities focus on marking debuffed enemies and enhancing his power. After using his Ultimate ability, Envydiel transforms into a new form, delivering sustained high damage that makes him a formidable presence on the battlefield. Infernal Jealousy (Ultimate)
Passive: After every two of AFK Arena Envydiel’s normal attacks, his next normal attack is enhanced, dealing extra damage equal to 5% of the target’s max health, capped at 500% of Envydiel’s Attack Rating. The higher Envydiel’s attack, the more damage this ability deals.
Active: Envydiel places the Shadowed Core back into his chest, dealing 250% damage to nearby enemies and knocking them down. He then transforms into the Avatar of Envy for 18 seconds.
After the transformation, Envydiel retains a maximum of 400 Energy.
While transformed (Avatar of Envy), his Attack Rating is boosted by 15% for each attribute recorded by the Shadowed Core. His normal attacks become a double strike. He gains immunity to control effects for 5 seconds. He reduces the Physical Resist and Crit Block Rate of nearby enemies by 5 points per recorded attribute, up to a maximum of 35 points. This debuff causes enemies to take more damage.
Echoing Shackles (1st Skill)
Passive: When an enemy is debuffed, the Shadowed Core records the reduced attribute (up to 7 types) and applies a Mark of Corruption that lasts for 7 seconds. The mark explodes on expiry or after two normal attacks from Envydiel, dealing 240% damage to nearby enemies. If AFK Arena Envydiel is targeting an enemy with the mark, the second normal attack will trigger the explosion. Marked enemies cannot gain another Mark of Corruption.
Level 2: When Envydiel suffers a control effect, he gains control immunity for 1 second and stuns the attacker (once every 4 seconds).
Level 3: When an enemy suffers a debuff, Envydiel’s Attack Speed is increased by 45 points for 4 seconds (does not stack).
Level 4: For each attribute recorded by the Shadowed Core, Envydiel deals 5% more damage for the entire battle, up to 35%.
Level 5: For each strike of normal attack damage Envydiel deals to an enemy with a Mark of Corruption, the range and explosion damage of the mark increases by 25%.
Level 6: Marks of Corruption deal 100% more explosion damage to the marked enemy.
Loom of Longing (2nd Skill)
Envydiel’s passive ability marks the enemy with the highest base Attack Rating as “Desired” at the start of the battle. He receives 100% of healing or shield effects given to the Desired target by allies, enhancing his sustain. Additionally, he takes 70% less damage and health loss from enemies not marked by Desired, significantly boosting his survivability.
His active ability deals 350% damage and applies 4 seconds of Silence in a fan-shaped area, with the added effect of pulling enemies in during Avatar of Envy. At level 2, Envydiel gains untargetable, invincible, or control immunity effects whenever the Desired target receives similar effects (up to 3 seconds, once every 5 seconds). At level 3, his skill decreases the cooldown speed of skills (excluding the Ultimate) of the Desired target by 25%, up to four times per enemy, though this does not apply to bosses.
Sinful Feast (3rd Skill)
Instantly slashes all enemies for 300% damage and steals Attack Rating based on the enemy’s current highest Attack Rating with the attack boost, not exceeding 60%, lasting 8 seconds. This is especially strong in single-target scenarios like boss fights. Then performs a heavy strike on the enemy with the highest base Attack Rating for 360% damage plus an additional 300% damage based on the stolen Attack Rating.
Blossoming Vengeance
For each attribute of an enemy hero that is reduced by a debuff, the enemy will take 10% more damage from normal attacks for the entire battle, up to a maximum increase of 70%. For each attribute recorded by the Shadowed Core, allied heroes will gain 5 points of Attack Speed. If an allied hero’s Attack Speed is greater than zero, then every point of Attack Speed will grant 0.5 points of Life Leech and increase their normal attack damage by 0.8%. These effects will apply for up to a maximum of 80 points of Attack Speed.
Only 1 Awakening Skill can be chosen per formation.

Thorne Blade of Envy
The Thorne Blade of Envy is AFK Arena Envydiel’s Signature Item, enhancing his damage and control immunity. It boosts his Attack Speed, damage from debuffs, and the explosion damage of his Mark of Corruption. At higher upgrades, it grants control immunity, attack boosts, and increases the effectiveness of his debuffs, significantly improving his combat performance. Upgrading to +40 provides substantial attack, crit, and physical pierce bonuses, making Envydiel a powerful force, especially in prolonged battles.
Skill: Echoing Shackles
[Unlocked at Activation]: When AFK Arena Envydiel suffers a control effect from an enemy, he gains control immunity for 1 second and stuns the attacker. The stun’s duration is based on the duration of the control effect, for up to a maximum of 3 seconds. This effect can only be triggered once every 4 seconds. This mirrors the level 2 upgrade of his 1st skill upon activation.

- [Unlocked at +40]: Marks of Corruption deal 100% more explosion damage to the marked enemy. This upgrade is considered highly recommended, as it provides a significant boost to DPS.
It is highly recommended to upgrade AFK Arena Envydiel’s Signature Item to +40. While SI +30 is essential for unlocking the full potential of his kit, reaching +40 significantly amplifies his power, making him an even more formidable character. Investing in his Signature Item to +40 is considered a top priority for maximizing his effectiveness in battles.
The Signature Item plays a crucial role in enhancing AFK Arena Envydiel’s second ability, boosting his damage through debuffs, which are key to his performance. At SI +30, the Mark of Corruption becomes a permanent debuff, consistently reducing the enemy’s physical resistance and crit block rating. Every two normal attacks will detonate the mark, with the second attack on a marked enemy triggering the explosion.
At SI +40, Envydiel gains a “free 100% damage every normal attack,” which provides a substantial power boost, though further testing is needed to fully gauge its impact. Additionally, upgrading from +30 to +40 grants significant stat bonuses, including 11.2% crit, 4.37% physical Pierce, and 26.4% attack, all of which enhance Envydiel’s overall combat effectiveness.
AFK Arena Envydiel Guide: Furniture Ability
Loom of Longing
AFK Arena Envydiel’s Furniture Ability is tied to his 2nd skill, Loom of Longing.
3/3 Ability: When an enemy marked by Desired becomes untargetable, invincible, or immune to control effects, Envydiel also receives the same effect for up to 3 seconds. This effect can be triggered once every 5 seconds, providing a boost to his survivability.
9/9 Ability: When an enemy marked by Desired actively uses a skill other than their Ultimate, the cooldown speed of that skill is increased by 25%. This effect can be triggered up to 4 times per enemy and does not apply to bosses. This is particularly useful in PVP, as it serves as a permanent haste debuff that cannot be cleansed.
It is generally recommended to obtain AFK Arena Envydiel’s 9/9 furniture set bonus to complete his full kit. Having all furniture (9/9) is essential for PVP, and the 9/9 furniture set bonus is recommended overall.

For AFK Arena Envydiel, the minimal Eternal Engraving investment required to make him functional is E0. However, the recommended investment for optimal performance is E67. The maximum meaningful investment is E68, beyond which further engraving is generally unnecessary unless you’re a high-spending PVP player.
E30: This node enhances his fourth skill, Sinful Feast, by increasing the duration of the stolen Attack Rating buff from 8 to 12 seconds and ensuring a minimum of 20% Attack Rating is always stolen. The +30 engraving is considered mandatory.
E60: Further improves Sinful Feast by causing enemies to take extra damage equal to 100% of the stolen Attack Rating percentage for the next 10 seconds.
Important engraving nodes for damage amplification include crit, physical Pierce, attack, and attack speed. While the +30 engraving needs more testing, it seems to offer a longer and stronger attack buff. The +60 engraving’s effect depends on stealing attack rating from enemies.
