Brawl Stars Spirit Wars Guide

Destroy the enemy defense turret! Angel and Demon Spirits are pouring forth from portals to bring their eternal war to you! Collect Amulets to summon Spirits to a Battle—these Amulets appear randomly around the middle of the map, and holding one for a few seconds activates it. Each match has up to three Battles, where up to 10 Spirits are summoned based on the number of Amulets collected. Spirits grow stronger with each Battle. Watch out—don’t get too close to the enemy turret without Spirits to help you!

Brawl Stars Spirit Wars

Brawl Stars Spirit Wars is a 3v3 event introduced in the October 2024 Angels vs. Demons update. Each team defends a turret while trying to destroy the opponent’s. Players collect Amulets that spawn mid-map and deliver them to their turret by holding them for 3 seconds. The more Amulets a team feeds, the more Spirits (up to 10) are summoned to attack the enemy turret, with Spirit health increasing by 1000 each round. Victory is achieved by destroying the enemy turret or dealing more damage to it by the match’s end. Turrets deal moderate damage to enemies who enter their defensive semicircle.

Brawl Stars Spirit Wars Guide: Tips

Tips for mastering Brawl Stars Spirit Wars include quick decision-making, strong team coordination, and smart use of Supers. With unique round-based mechanics and team upgrades after each win, knowing how to gain an early advantage and maintain control is key to victory.

Start With Fast Super Chargers

Open with Brawlers like Stu, Darryl, or Kit who charge their Supers quickly—carrying a charged Super into the next round gives a major edge.

Prioritize Survivability

Since Spirit Energy is lost upon death, use Brawlers like Pam, Nita, or Frank who can tank damage or heal to stay on the field longer and retain more Spirit.

Collect and Bank Spirit Wisely

Don’t rush into Spirit drops blindly. Time your collection during low-pressure moments or when enemies are retreating—survival matters more than greed.

Use Area Denial Brawlers

Brawlers like Spike, Sandy, or Barley can zone out Spirit drops with area control, making it risky for enemies to retrieve lost Spirit.

Pair Speed With Control

Speedy Brawlers like Max or Buzz can quickly dive for Spirit, while control Brawlers like Lou or Emz keep enemies back—this combo is powerful in team play.

Capitalize on Enemy Missteps

Watch for overextending enemies. Catching one out of position often leads to big Spirit drops and quick momentum swings.

Use Pushbacks and Pulls

Brawlers like Gene, Tara, and Knockback gadgets (e.g., Gale, Buster) can disrupt Spirit carriers and force them to drop everything mid-fight.

Hold the Lead With Zone Control

If you’re ahead, play defensively and group up around Spirit clumps. Force enemies to take risks while you protect your energy stack.

Beware Last-Minute Rushes

Many teams go all-in during the final seconds. Save a Super or Gadget to counter desperate rushes and secure your Spirit stash.

Check Map Layout Daily

Spirit Wars map rotations can favor either brawlers with range or close-quarters strength. Adjust your team daily for optimal performance.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)

❓ What is Spirit Wars in Brawl Stars?

Spirit Wars is a round-based 3v3 game mode where teams compete in short, intense battles. The first team to win two rounds wins the match. Brawlers retain their Super charge between rounds, and after each victory, the team selects a unique Spirit Upgrade that boosts their performance. It emphasizes fast strategy and adaptability.

❓ Do Supers carry over between rounds?

Yes! One of the unique mechanics in Spirit Wars is that if you fully charge your Super in a round, you will keep it going into the next one—even if your brawler is defeated. This makes early Super charging a powerful advantage.

❓ What are Spirit Upgrades?

Spirit Upgrades are passive boosts you earn after winning a round. They can enhance stats like movement speed, damage, healing, or even grant new effects. Your team selects one upgrade together, making team synergy and careful choice critical to winning.

❓ Which brawlers are strong in Spirit Wars?

Brawlers with fast Super charge, mobility, or high burst damage perform well—like Stu, Buzz, Chuck, or Leon. Tanks like Sam and El Primo can also be valuable if used to apply pressure early. Choose brawlers that shine in quick engagements and can maintain momentum.

❓ How do you win in Spirit Wars?

To win, your team must win two out of three rounds. Stay alive, focus fire, and use terrain wisely. Charging your Super early, coordinating takedowns, and selecting the best Spirit Upgrade after round wins are all crucial to maintaining the edge across rounds.
