The Burning Bud is a multi-harvest, Prismatic rarity crop in Grow a Garden. It was added on July 5, 2025, as part of the Prehistoric update. It is considered the most expensive and rarest seed currently available in the Seed Shop and is described as being “better and more OP” than any other seeds in the current Seed Shop.

The Burning Bud Seed appears to have a stack of five flat, rectangular shapes, each slightly offset from the one below it. The colors transition from a bright, almost golden yellow at the top to a deep, fiery red at the bottom, suggesting a gradient of heat or intensity. Grow a Garden Burning Bud flower has a reddish-orange center with yellow petals.

How to Obtain Grow a Garden Burning Bud

Obtaining the Grow a Garden Burning Bud seed can be challenging due to its high rarity and low drop rate. Here are the various methods:

Seed Shop Purchase

The seed can be purchased from the Seed Shop for 40,000,000 Sheckles or 915 Robux. There is a 0.005% (1/20,000) chance for the Burning Bud to be in stock after the Seed Shop refreshes.

The Seed Shop refreshes every 5 minutes in real-time. Developers sometimes randomly stock up the Seed Shop with rare seeds, especially before updates. This might happen once a week at most, or twice on update days. It’s recommended to stay active in the game, particularly a couple of hours before updates, for a chance to get new seeds early.

Lucky Harvest

You might obtain a Burning Bud seed through a “Lucky Harvest” when you harvest an existing plant. This is a rare occurrence and only works with Seed Shop plants. Using a Snail pet can increase your chances of obtaining a seed while harvesting the crop.

Using Pets

Golden Lab and Dog have a chance to dig up any seed found in the Seed Shop. A Golden Lab has a chance to dig up a seed every 60 minutes and multiple Golden Labs can increase your chances. Dogs have a similar ability but with a lower chance.

Red Fox can duplicate a seed from a neighboring player’s garden and bring it to you. The Red Fox’s ability triggers every eight minutes or every 10 minutes at Level 1.

Grow a Garden Burning Bud Value and Profit

The Burning Bud is highly profitable, especially with enhancements. The base value a Burning Bud can be sold for is 70,000 Sheckles (with a base weight of 12.00kg). The minimum sell value is 63,175 Sheckles (at 11.40kg).

The average sell value is often cited as 135,000 Sheckles or 135,375 Sheckles. A single Grow a Garden Burning Bud crop can yield approximately up to two flowers. This means one seed can provide over 2,000,000 Sheckles without mutations.

Increasing Value with Mutations and Size

Using gears like Sprinklers and encouraging mutations can significantly increase the crop’s value. Also, by using the “Favorite” tool to lock the harvest, the Burning Bud can accumulate multiple mutations, potentially increasing its sell value to tens of millions of Sheckles.
