The Corrupt Staff is a gear item introduced in the Roblox: Grow a Garden Corrupted Event update. It is designed to help players obtain the Corrupt mutation on their crops.

Grow a Garden Corrupt Staff grants additional Corrupt mutations when placed in your garden. This gear items has five charges. Like other staff items, it will despawn after a certain number of uses.

How to Obtain Grow a Garden Corrupt Staff

The Corrupt Staff is obtained as a reward from the Corrupt Channeller NPC. To receive it, you need to engage with the Corrupt Channeller’s quest system, which involves:

Completing quests by providing the specific fruits he requests or by spending Sheckles. Each completed quest contributes to growing the Corrupt Tree.

The Corrupt Staff is part of the loot table of possible rewards from the Corrupt Channeller. There is an 8.7% chance of receiving the Corrupt Staff as a reward from him.

The Corrupt Staff is used to apply the Corrupt Mutation to fruits and crops. A crop affected by the Corrupt Mutation will have a red lightning effect around it and often drop red and grey particles.

Its color may also appear off from its usual hue. The Corrupt Mutation increases a crop’s sale value by a 20x multiplier.

This value is comparable to the Tranquil Mutation, which also offers a 20x sale value multiplier, reflecting a balance between Corruption and Tranquility in the game.

The Corrupt Mutation is stackable and can be applied to any crop, not just specific types..

Corrupt fruits are primarily used for trading to the Kitsune NPC in the center of the map. You must trade an equal amount of Tranquil and Corrupt fruits to fill the circles on either side of the Kitsune to receive a Kitsune Chest as a reward.
