The Fairy Event is a new, limited-time update in Roblox: Grow a Garden that introduces magical features and challenges for players. It is part of Update 1.21.0.

Grow a Garden Fairy Event is scheduled to run from August 30 to September 13, 2025.
Grow a Garden Fairy Event: Overview
The core of the Grow a Garden Fairy Event revolves around obtaining plants with the new Glimmering mutation. These plants appear pink and translucent with a glowing aura and provide a 5x sale value multiplier.
There are several ways to acquire Glimmering mutation crops. Every hour, for the first ten minutes, the Fairies weather effect takes place.
During this time, fairies fly into your garden and apply the Glimmering mutation to some of your crops. This duration can be increased through Fairy upgrades.
Fairies also randomly spawn around the map, regardless of the active weather. Interacting with a roaming fairy will send it to your garden to apply the Glimmering mutation to one random fruit.
You’ll see an announcement on your screen when they spawn.
Certain pets and Gears can help apply the Glimmering mutation:

| Pet Shard Glimmering |  | This item can be used to apply a similar passive ability to a different pet, allowing it to also apply Glimmering to crops. |
| Mutation Spray Glimmering |  | This item can be used to directly apply the Glimmering mutation to a crop. |
Grow a Garden Fairy Event: The Wishing Well & Fairy Favors
The Wishing Well (also known as the Fountain) is centrally located on the map and is where players offer Glimmering plants to earn rewards.
You can submit any Glimmering plant to the Wishing Well to fill the Fountain Power gauge. The Wishing Well will also display specific plants it “requests” (seen hovering above the well).
Offering the requested Glimmering plant will instantly fill the Fountain Power bar and reward you with additional Fairy Points, automatically granting a “Wish”.
Players can earn up to five wishes per day. Each wish moves you up to a higher reward tier, which offers better rewards. Progress can be reset using Fairy Points or Robux.
The number of tasks required to earn a wish increases with each tier:
- For your first two wishes (Tier 1 & 2), you’ll need to complete one task.
- For your third and fourth wishes (Tier 3 & 4), you’ll need to complete two tasks.
- For your last wish (Tier 5), you’ll need to complete three tasks.
- Tasks are randomly selected based on your current wish tier.

Players are encouraged to grow as many of these plants as possible to easily earn wishes and rewards.
Fountain Rewards
Upon earning a wish, players are presented with a choice between three random rewards from their current tier. If you don’t like the options, you can reroll the rewards once.
The most desirable rewards are the Glimmering Pet Shard and the Aurora Vine, which are obtained from higher reward tiers and have a low chance of appearing.

Grow a Garden Fairy Event: Fairy Godmother Upgrades
Fairy Points are an exclusive event currency earned by submitting Glimmering plants to the Wishing Well.
These points can be spent at the Fairy Godmother NPC, located in front of the Wishing Well, to purchase upgrades that make the event easier. Upgrade prices increase as you level them up.
There are four types of Fairy upgrades:
Glimmer Multiplier
Increases the Glimmering mutation multiplier value, leading to more profit when selling Glimmering fruits. It can be upgraded up to 10 times, reaching a 2x multiplier (10x mutation value).
Roaming Fairy Spawn Amount
Increases the number of roaming fairies appearing around the map. It can be upgraded up to 4 times.
Fairy Event Duration
Extends the time the Fairies weather effect runs each hour, allowing more plants to get the Glimmering mutation. It can be upgraded up to 10 times, reaching a total duration of 20 minutes.
Fairy Spawn Amount
Increases the number of fairies that spawn in your garden during the Fairies event. It can be upgraded up to 9 times.
Grow a Garden Fairy Event: New Content & Features
Grow a Garden Fairy Event update introduces a variety of new items, pets, and seeds.
New Pets
| Ladybug |  | Makes all flower-type plants grow 1.59-1.6 times faster. |
| Pixie |  | Every 3 minutes and 33 seconds, spreads pixie dust for 15.18-15 seconds to all plants within 15.91-15 studs, advancing growth by an extra 30 seconds every second. Also makes nearby players levitate. |
| Imp |  | Every 6 minutes and 66 seconds, invites you to chase it for a random reward. Has a 15.22% chance to play again. |
| Glimmering Sprite | | Every 3 minutes and 33 seconds or 12 minutes, flies to a nearby fruit and applies the Glimmering mutation. |
| Cockatrice |  | Every 19 minutes, lets out a screech, giving nearby fruits a 20% chance to turn silver and 1% chance to turn gold. Every 10 minutes, spits venom that can give fruits a toxic mutation, advance egg growth by 81 seconds, or give pets 805 XP. |
