How to Obtain Grow a Garden Fortune Mutation
Golden Goose (Pet)
The Fortune Mutation is exclusively obtained through the Golden Goose pet.
Acquiring the Golden Goose pet is a time-sensitive process as it was released during a limited-time event. Once you have the Golden Goose pet, it will automatically lay a Golden Egg plant every 788-300 seconds (approximately 5-13 minutes).
These Golden Egg plants are unique as they start with the Fortune Mutation already applied. Golden Eggs can be harvested and mutate like other plants. They can also be fed to the Golden Goose.
The Fortune Mutation has a unique transfer mechanism: When you harvest and sell a Golden Egg plant at Steven’s Stall, there is a chance that the Fortune Mutation will transfer to a random fruit in your garden. This is the only mutation in the game that can spread in this way.
Grow a Garden Fortune Mutation can combine with other mutations for exponential value multiplication.
