The Kappa is a Mythical and currently unobtainable, unreleased pet that is expected to be part of the upcoming Zen Update. In Grow a Garden, the Kappa is described as having a green body, a yellow beak, and brown-black hair.
It is based on Japanese mythology, it is said to look like a turtle with a beak, bald hair, and frog arms and legs, which has been described as a weird looking pet.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Kappa
Zen Egg
Grow a Garden Kappa will be obtainable from the Zen Egg. The Zen Egg is a legendary egg that will be added in the Zen Update.
It is currently unobtainable through standard gameplay and requires admin or testing rights to acquire. The hatch chance for a Kappa from a Zen Egg is 3.5%. The Zen Event, which introduces the Zen Egg, is scheduled to start on July 19th, 2025, and end on July 26th, 2025.
Grow a Garden Kappa: Passive Ability
The Kappa’s passive ability is called “Water Spirit”. This trait allows the Kappa to occasionally spray water on all nearby fruits, mutating them to ‘Wet’. Additionally, it has a chance to convert ‘Wet’ mutations already on fruit to ‘Bloodlit’.
