This mutation enhances the selling value of your crops and gives them a unique visual effect, making them shine with a radiant glow. Unlike the Glimmering mutation, there are no weather events specifically associated with the Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation.

How to Get Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation

There are several ways to obtain the Luminous Mutation for your crops:

Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation - Luminous Sprite

Luminous Sprite (Pet)

The Luminous Sprite is considered the best way to ensure your fruits gain the Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation.

You can purchase the Luminous Sprite from the Luminous Sprite NPC in the Fairy Fares shop, located in the Fairy World. To unlock this pet in the shop, you must collect 900 Fairy Jars.

The Luminous Sprite occasionally flies to a random fruit in your garden and applies the Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation, enhancing its growth and rarity potential.

Mutation Spray Luminous

The Mutation Spray Luminous is another method to obtain the Luminous Mutation. This Legendary rarity item can be purchased from the Luminous Sprite NPC (Fairy Fares) for 6,000 Fairy Points.

Due to its rarity, it may not always be in stock. You can also acquire it for free by completing the parkour challenge in the Fairy World and redeeming the rewards.

It is a single-use item. Simply equip the spray, go to the fruit you wish to affect, and click on it to instantly apply the Luminous Mutation. It’s recommended to use it on your most valuable crop.

Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation - Luminous Wand 2

Luminous Wand

The Luminous Wand offers a craftable method to obtain the Luminous Mutation. It can be crafted at the event crafting station in the middle of the map.

It can also be purchased from Fairy Fares for 750 Fairy Points.

This gear, once used, changes the mutation applied by fairies from Glimmering to Luminous the next time fairies visit your garden. It is a one-use item, meaning you must craft or obtain it again after each use.

Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation - Pet Shard Luminous

Pet Shard Luminous

The Pet Shard Luminous allows you to apply the Luminous Mutation directly to a pet.

It is acquired as a reward for completing all 16 Fairy Event Achievements found in the Garden Guide. Once obtained, you can use it to apply the ‘Luminous’ mutation to a selected pet.

This is similar to how the Glimmering Shard works, where the pet will then passively apply the mutation to nearby fruits. The Pet Mutation Shard Luminous was added on September 6, 2025.

Grow a Garden Luminous Mutation: Value Multiplier

The Luminous Mutation is highly valuable due to its significant boost to crop sale prices. It increases a crop’s selling price by 50 times.

All mutation multipliers are stackable. This means if your harvest has Luminous and other mutations, it will sell for a substantially higher value, potentially more than 100 times its original price if combined with Blazing.
