Grow a Garden Moon Mango is a divine, limited, and multi-harvest crop in the Roblox Grow a Garden. It was introduced on May 25, 2025, as part of Update 1.07.0, and was partly released as an apology for the poor reception of that update.

How to Get Grow a Garden Moon Mango Seed

Moon Mango seeds could primarily be obtained from the Twilight Shop. This secret shop emerges when the game’s sky turns pitch black, which occurs during the Night Event. Players would typically need to wait approximately 60 real-world minutes for the Night Event to commence for the shop to appear.

While seed-digging pets cannot acquire a free Moon Mango seed, a Raccoon pet has the ability to duplicate a Moon Mango fruit from a neighbor’s farm without any actual “stealing” involved. As of recent updates, Moon Mango seeds are currently unobtainable through regular gameplay methods.

Grow a Garden Moon Mango seed was exceptionally expensive, costing a staggering 1,000,000,000 Sheckles in-game currency, or alternatively, 999 Robux. This made it the most expensive crop seed in the game.

The Moon Mango plant is tree-like, featuring an ashy-brown trunk and branches that support canopies of various dark purple shades. The fruits themselves hang beneath these canopies, resembling regular mangoes but with a dark purple color and a single light purple leaf. The seed is described as a small, vertically positioned cuboid that fades from dark purple at the top to a very light purple at the bottom.

Grow a Garden Moon Mango is a multi-harvest plant, meaning it yields multiple purple mangoes once fully grown. It is generally a slow-growing crop, though its growth rate accelerates during the Night Event.

Upon its initial release, a single Moon Mango fruit sold for 200,000 Sheckles. However, its value was subsequently nerfed, bringing its base sell price down to approximately 40,000 Sheckles, with a documented minimum value of 45,125 Sheckles. The final selling price can be significantly increased by the fruit’s weight and any mutations it acquires.

Historically, the Moon Mango was extremely profitable when combined with the “sprinkler glitch,” which allowed players to grow oversized fruits. This strategy could make a single Moon Mango sell for billions of Sheckles, enabling players to quickly accumulate wealth and become “trillionaires”. However, this “Infinite Sprinkler Method” glitch has since been removed with the Worker Bee Update, and crops can no longer grow oversized using this method.

Without the benefit of the sprinkler glitch, the profitability of the Moon Mango primarily relies on mutations and may not justify its colossal seed cost. Due to its high initial investment and the subsequent nerf to its base value, the Moon Mango is sometimes regarded by the Grow a Garden community as a “scam” or “meme fruit”.
