How to Get the Grow a Garden Pachycephalosaurus

Grow a Garden Pachycephalosaurus - Primal Egg

Primal Egg

The primary way to obtain the Spinosaurus is by hatching a Primal Egg. The Spinosaurus has a 0.5% chance of hatching from a Primal Egg, making it the rarest pet from this egg. Primal Eggs take four hours and ten minutes to hatch.

You can acquire Primal Eggs through several methods:

Crafting Primwal Eggs

You first need to unlock the ability to craft these eggs by upgrading the DNA Machine four times, which requires giving a total of 280 KG of Prehistoric Plants to Barry. Once unlocked, head to the crafting table (located near the Pre-historic quest stall or Blaire NPC in the central area).

The crafting recipe for a Primal Egg is: 1x Dinosaur Egg, 1x Bone Blossom, and 5,500,000 Sheckles. Crafting a Primal Egg takes thirty minutes.

Trading Pets in the DNA Machine

You need to upgrade the DNA Machine by speaking with Barry. Giving him 40 KG of Prehistoric Plants will make Primal Eggs have a chance to appear. To unlock Primal Eggs in the reward pool from trading, the machine must be upgraded three times. The “Green dinosaur variant” of the DNA machine signifies max level.

Interact with the Graham NPC (located behind the Dinosaur Eggs stall). Give Graham your non-dinosaur pets. The DNA machine will then process the trade, and you have a chance to receive a Primal Egg (or a Dinosaur Egg or even a Primal Egg pet directly). This method is based on probability.

Buying from the In-Game Shop

You can purchase Premium Primal Eggs using Robux from the Limited-Time Shop. Costs are 149 Robux for one, 429 Robux for three, and 1,269 Robux for ten.

Buying Premium Primal Eggs offers benefits: the hatch time is greatly reduced to just 30 seconds (compared to 4 hours and 10 minutes for crafted eggs). It also grants better chances of obtaining higher rarity pets and a chance to get another Primal Egg.

Grow a Garden Pachycephalosaurus - Rainbow Premium Primal Egg

Note that a rainbow variant of dinosaurs (except Spinosaurus) can be obtained via this method, and it may be a limited-time offer.

Grow a Garden Pachycephalosaurus Passive Ability

The Pachycephalosaurus’s passive ability is called “Crafty Dome”. This trait provides a 6.60% chance to duplicate a crafted item. It is consistently described as a “small chance”.

The Pachycephalosaurus is considered a great option for players who frequently visit the Crafting shop. Its item duplication ability can save time and resources when crafting items like new Primal Eggs, new seeds, or a lightning rod. This pet offers a performance boost and enhances strategic gameplay by optimizing resource management. Its effectiveness can be further improved by adding a gold or rainbow pet mutation to it.
