The Pet Mutation Shards are gears designed to mutate pets instantly in Roblox: Grow a Garden, bypassing the mutation machine. They are used to purposely apply a mutation to a pet that it does not already possess.

Grow a Garden Pet Mutation Shards: Usage
To apply a shard:
- Hold out the shard.
- Click on the pet that you wish to apply the mutation to.
Overwriting Existing Mutations
If a pet already has a mutation, applying a new shard will overwrite the existing one. Applying them to an already mutated pet will generate a prompt asking the player to replace the pet’s current mutation.
If the player presses “Confirm,” the existing mutation will be overwritten.
Cleansing Pet Shard
This special shard is used to remove an existing pet mutation.
This Divine-tier gear can be purchased in the Gear Shop for 30,000,000 Sheckles or 139 Robux.
Some of these mutations can be obtained through the pet mutation machine near the egg shop. Using Grow a Garden Pet Mutation Shards is a quicker and guaranteed way to utilize mutations to your pets.
