The Polar Bear is a Legendary pet in Roblox: Grow a Garden that provides valuable passive abilities to enhance your crops. It was introduced with the Animal Update on May 3, 2025. The Polar Bear has a white body and ears, a slightly yellow-tinted snout, and black paws and facial features.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Polar Bear
Legendary Egg
To get a Polar Bear, you need to purchase and hatch Legendary Eggs. The Legendary Egg costs 3 million Sheckles from the Pet Egg Shop.
The chance of the Legendary Egg appearing in the shop’s stock is 9% or 12%, and the shop refreshes its stock every 30 minutes. Once you have a Legendary Egg, you need to place it in your garden to hatch. It takes 4 hours to hatch.
Grow a Garden Polar Bear has a 2.13% chance of hatching from a Legendary Egg, making it one of the rarest pets from this egg type, sharing its rarity level with the Legendary Turtle.
Alternatively, the Legendary Egg can be purchased with Robux for 129 Robux. Obtaining a Polar Bear can be costly, potentially requiring 150,000,000 Sheckles or more due to its low hatch chance.
Note: Currently, Legendary egg is unobtainable in the Pet Egg Shop, so the only way to acquire the Polar Bear is through pet gifting.
Grow a Garden Polar Bear: Passive Ability
The Polar Bear’s passive ability is to mutate nearby crops with the Frozen or Chilled Mutation. This ability has a 10% chance of activating every 90 seconds (or approximately 1.29 minutes).
The Chilled mutation doubles the value of the affected fruit, and the Frozen mutation applies a 10x sell value multiplier to the affected harvest. This ability activates automatically, even if there is no frosty weather in the game.
