The Radioactive Mutation is an unreleased event and mutation anticipated to arrive in a future Grow a Garden update, based on information leaked by the developer, Jandel, primarily through TikTok: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSBpqrq4V/
The central element of this event is a Carrot rocket, also referred to as a “nuke”. Players will be required to fill this rocket with fruits, specifically carrot seeds.
It’s suggested that using carrots with existing mutations might allow you to fuel the rocket more quickly. The Carrot Rocket is expected to appear in the game, likely located behind the seed shop.

Once the carrot rocket is filled to 100% capacity, it will launch into the sky. Upon its explosion, the surrounding environment or the entire map will become radioactive, visually transforming into a green hue. This radioactive fallout is what triggers the new mutation.
