How to Get Grow a Garden Sandy Mutation
Sandstorm
The Sandy Mutation occurs exclusively during the Sandstorm Weather Event in Grow a Garden.
This is a randomly occurring regular weather event that you cannot manually trigger. During the Sandstorm, which lasts for up to three minutes, sand will fly around the map.
Any fruit planted in your garden during this event has a chance to be affected by the Sandy Mutation. The more crops you have growing, the better your chances.
Since it’s one of 13 possible regular weather events, its frequency can diminish, making it a rare sight.
Jackalope
The Jackalope is an Uncommon-rarity pet that can apply the Grow a Garden Sandy Mutation
You can obtain a Jackalope from a Sprout Egg, with a 31% chance of hatching. Every 100 seconds (or one minute and 40 seconds), the Jackalope will thump its feet. Upon doing so, there is a 15% chance for one randomly chosen nearby fruit to receive the Sandy Mutation.
