The Verdant Mutation in Roblox: Grow a Garden is a unique crop variant that alters the appearance and significantly increases the selling price of your fruits and vegetables.
The Verdant Mutation gives your fruits a vibrant grassy green color. It also features a glowing light animation with a lime green glowing square-shaped confetti effect that circulates the mutated fruit, making it stand out.
However, these changes can be difficult to notice on certain plants like Bamboo and Durian, which may simply appear darker. The Verdant Mutation quadruples a fruit’s value, providing a 4x selling multiplier.
How to Get the Grow a Garden Verdant Mutation
There are two primary ways to obtain the Verdant Mutation:
Scarlet Macaw
The Scarlet Macaw is a Legendary Pet that can be hatched from the Paradise Egg. The Scarlet Macaw is described as a cute, bright red parrot with blue and yellow tail feathers, a white heart-shaped face, and a black beak.
The Scarlet Macaw’s passive ability, “Verdant Bird,” allows it to mutate a nearby fruit, applying the Verdant Mutation. This ability triggers approximately every 11.5 minutes.
There is an approximate 16% chance (ranging from 15.78% to 16.51%) for the Scarlet Macaw to successfully apply the Verdant Mutation. This percentage can increase as the pet gets older.
You will receive on-screen notifications whether the Scarlet Macaw successfully applied the mutation or failed in its attempt.
Solar Flare Event
Grow a Garden Verdant Mutation can also be obtained with a chance during the admin-controlled “Solar Flare event,” which is a weather event.
Grow a Garden Verdant Mutation: Achieving Paradisal Mutation
The Verdant Mutation can be combined with another mutation to create an even more valuable variant called the Paradisal Mutation.
The Paradisal Mutation is formed when a crop has both the Verdant and Sundried mutations. This combined mutation offers an 18x selling multiplier.
