Zen Egg is a new pet egg introduced in the Zen update to Roblox: Grow a Garden. They are considered a Legendary egg and have a chance of hatching six cool new pets with powerful traits, including the first Prismatic pet, Kitsune.

How to Obtain Grow a Garden Zen Eggs

Zen Channeller

Locate the Zen Channeller (Initially known as “Monk Unk” NPC) at the center of the game area. Submit crops with the Tranquil Mutation to him.

This is considered the most cost-effective method as it doesn’t require in-game currency. Submitting Tranquil fruits fills a progress bar that helps grow the Zen Tree behind the Monk. As the Zen Tree levels up and grows, you will receive random Zen-themed rewards, including a high chance of receiving Zen Eggs.

Growing the tree is important for unlocking new items in the Zen Shop and getting rewards like Zen Seed packs, Chi, crates, and Zen Pet Eggs.

Zen Shop [Tranquil Treasures]

Interact with the Brown Raccoon NPC beside the Monk to access the Zen shop. You can buy Zen Eggs from there if you have enough Chi points.

Grow a Garden Zen Egg costs 30 Chi points or 149 Robux. Chi Points are a limited-time currency for the Zen Shop. You earn Chi Points by trading your Tranquil mutated crops to the Zen Shop NPC.

Note: The Zen shop refreshes every hour, but you can restock items by spending 500,000 Sheckles and clicking the restock button.

Hatching Grow a Garden Zen Egg

Once you have a Zen Egg, you can place it in your garden to hatch. The hatch time for a Grow a Garden Zen Egg is 4 hours and 10 minutes.

Grow a Garden Zen Egg: Obtainable Pets

Zen Eggs contain six new pets, each with unique traits and rarities:

Shiba Inu [Uncommon]		40%	Every 57.88 seconds, it has a 15.11% chance to dig up a random seed.
Nihonzaru [Rare]		31%	If your garden has a Hot Spring cosmetic (also available in the Zen Shop), it will boost the passive of all other pets by a small percentage.
Tanuki [Legendary]		20.82%	Every 10.30 minutes, it performs random actions in your garden and causes mischief.
Tanchozuru [Mythical]		4.6%	Every 10.22 minutes, fruits within 15.47 studs have a 5.23% chance to get the Tranquil mutation.
Kappa [Mythical]		3.5%	Every 7.58 seconds, it applies the Wet mutation on plants within range. It also has a 10.24% chance to replace Wet mutated plants with the Bloodlit mutation.
Kitsune [Prismatic]		0.08%	Every 20 minutes, it mutates a random fruit from another garden with Chakra (5x) and duplicates it. It also has a rare chance of applying the Foxfire Chakra mutation on that fruit instead.

To get the Tranquil mutation needed for obtaining Zen Eggs, you can wait for the Zen Aura event, which spawns every hour for 10 minutes and sends a blue aura to your garden, applying the mutation to random fruits.
