Welcome everyone, here I will be sharing some information and knowledge of what to look out for when swapping to the new Legend of Mushroom Beast Tamer Class. This class is the “master of pals”, meaning you get 6 total pals instead of 5. Please note, this guide will be updated frequently as we learn more about the class.

Gear Attributes for Beast Tamer

Ideally you will look to achieve Pal Combo DMG % and Pal Crit DMG %. Optionally, you can have Pal Combo DMG % + ANY, or Pal Crit DMG % + ANY. This is because of the Beast Tamer Class emphasis in pals, so it is best to maximise these abilities.

Next we will discuss a PVP build for the new Legend of Mushroom Beast Tamer Class.

PVP Skills for Beast Tamer

You should use the following skills for PVP: Blitz Assault; Smoke Bomb; Disarm; Easy Breezy; and Slime Bomb.

PVP Pals for Beast Tamer

You should use the following Pals for Legend of Mushroom Beast Tamer Class: Wealthy Lizard (Pal DMG +80, +10% Ignore Evasion); Pirate Parrot (Pal Crit DMG +75%); Angel Deer (DMG RES +15%); Hero Bird (Attack Speed +15%); Hipster Tortoise (Get a shield worth 30% of YOUR max HP when your HP is below 50%); and Snow General (Reduce Enemy Attack Speed by 15%).

Now we will discuss a PVE build for the Beast Tamer class.

PVE Skills for Beast Tamer

You should use the following skills, with the delays shown in brackets: Blitz Assault (1.5); Smoke Bomb (5); Disarm (5); Dazzled (4); and Slime Bomb (5).

PVE Pals for Beast Tamer

Just like the PVP build, you should use the following Pals for Legend of Mushroom Beast Tamer Class: Wealthy Lizard (Pal DMG +80, +10% Ignore Evasion); Pirate Parrot (Pal Crit DMG +75%); Angel Deer (DMG RES +15%); Hero Bird (Attack Speed +15%); Hipster Tortoise (Get a shield worth 30% of YOUR max HP when your HP is below 50%); and Snow General (Reduce Enemy Attack Speed by 15%).

Relics for Beast Tamer Class

You should use the following relics:

• Mask: Prist Mask (+5% Pal Crit Rate)
• Fossil: Dragonweave Circlet (Hi[ster Tortoise has a 20% chance to deal 0.5% of its HP to the opponent.)
• Treasure: Magic Box (Increase Deers DMG by X Value, Increases as leveled).
• Statue: Time Statue (Extend Duration of Disarm, Dazzled & Smoke Bomb by 50%).
• Necklace: Spirit Necklace (Basic Attacks deal an extra 15% DMG during Blitz Assault).

As for books, you should use the following:

• PVP: Flame Book
• PVE: Immunity Book / Beasthide Book

Soul Selection for Beast Tamer Class

The main souls you’re looking for will be listed below in priority order, top being most important, bottom being least.

• Guardian Star (Pal Crit Rate + Pal Crit DMG)
• Excellent Companion (Counter DMG + Pal DMG)
• Immortal Spirit (Global HP + HP Regen Bonus)
• Bloodstained Blade (Global ATK + Healing Rate)
• Forgiving Horns (Defense + Boss DMG Resistance)
• Blade Duo (Combo DMG + Boss DMG)
• Wildfire Piercer (Basic ATK + Skill DMG)
• Eye of the Abyss (Crit DMG + Skill Crit DMG)

The top 4 Souls are the main priority, If you want PVP only you can use the DEF soul and upgrade that. Don’t use DEF against mages as they ignore it, use DEF only against archers and warriors. If you want PVE then go for Combo + Boss DMG for the Boss dmg to boost your bosses/stages and leave DEF on red, Red and pink DEF souls have the same increase for both rarities.

Prayer Statue for Legend of Mushroom Beast Tamer Class

Here the ideal loadout is 5 Pal DMG to maximize pal DMG. it’s important that you have the healing rate + HP regen soul as Pals can regenerate your health so more DMG the pals deal more you regenerate.

Awakening Upgrades for Beast Tamer Class

I will be discussing them by these numbers to make things clearer to understand.

• Top Left = 1 (Attack Seal)
• Middle Left = 2  (DEF Seal)
• Bottom Left = 3 (Crit RES Seal)
• Top Right = 4 (HP Seal)
• Middle Right = 5 (Crit DMG Seal)
• Bottom Right = 6 (Pal Seal)

Now that we have distinguished the positions and which seal is in what order on the image displayed, I will now discuss the main important seals here.

Most Important being at the top, least important at the bottom.

• Pal DMG Seal
• Attack Seal
• HP Seal
• DEF Seal
• Crit RES Seal
• Crit DMG Seal
• DEF/Crit RES – only good if you’re struggling against archers/warriors, Crit DMG doesn’t boost Pal DMG’s crit damage so worthless.

Artifact Enhancements (Runestones)

Common Foe (Global Pal DMG %). Here you want x6 Common Foe Runestones in each individual slot, to maximise your Pal DMG. Getting all 6 Common Foe will give you 15% Global PAL DMG.
