Getting Started in Legend of Mushroom

Main page on Legend of Mushroom mobile app

This is the main-page where most things are looked at as well as unlocked.

Legend of Mushroom Rush Events

The first thing you want to learn in this game is Rush Events. These happen on a 28 day cycle and are important for the growth of your character. You can check your servers up coming events by using our Legend of Mushroom Event Calendar. Upon achieving a ranking for this event you will be rewarded with rush tokens as well as a variety of other rewards.

Rush tokens can be used to purchase a variety of advanced Mounts in the rush shop.

Legend of Mushroom Mounts

Mounts Give bonuses as well as additional skills when using them. As you can see the Mount skill here will give a Skill Crit Rate of 10% then give a bonus 20% ATK DMG for 5 seconds after it has been activated. The Global ATK 10% located at the bottom is a bonus attribute that you get for using the mount, you don’t need this equipped in order to get the boost at the bottom this will get added into your stats which we will go more into below.

Lamps and Gear in Legend of Mushroom

Upon clearing stages or various tasks you will be rewarded with lamps which you can use to obtain gear. You can see your chances of each gear by clicking on the level of your lamp. the higher the level your lamp is the better the gear you will obtain, The higher the gears level the higher the ATK, HP & DEF you will obtain as well as the attributes percentages.

You want the stats ideal for your class that you have picked. For example; Archer – Crit / Combo, Warrior – Crit / Counter, Mage – Skill Crit / Stun.

If you want in-depth information on your character about your stats, where they come from so you can look into how to optimize your character simply go to chat or find a player on your friends list. In this example, I am going to be going into chat and clicking on a user:

Screenshot of in-game chat showing a player, Barrow, sending in a duck emoji.

If you click onto their profile picture it will load up this UI:

Next we will be clicking onto Compare this will load up my stats vs his stats so we can look into stats.

Here we can see my stats vs his stats, located on the left there is a little “i” icon, this is an information icon and will load up an additional menu:

I am going to be using attack speed as an example here. First I will explain how this works: the top area is your base/initial stats, any extras you have for that bonus will then multiply your base stats. For example, ATK SPD Total is 2.8 This is from the Initial Attributes (everyone gets this) Equipment (This is your gear it maxes out at 1.9) This is now multiplied by 30% because I have a 15% boost in my partner (Pals) and 15% in my tech (Tech park where you spend ores for research) This will now be multiplied by 15% because of my class, I am archer so I get a 15% Speed boost.

CONCLUSION: Stats at the top are multiplied by the numbers in the middle then the middle is multiplied by the bottom.

Beginners Guide to Pals / Skills in Legend of Mushroom

Screenshot showing the Pals menu in Legend of Mushroom. Shows lots of pals, with 5 selected - 4 red and 1 purple.

Pals and skills are very important, you never want to quick equip these as it will just quick select the highest rarity that you own. This is not ideal because you want the correct pals/skill loadout for it to work in the most efficient way, you can take a look at the class guides for more information on which ones to use.

Each pal/skill has a overall own affect which you can see in green in the image above as well as in the image below. This adds up from each pal/skill that you own, the more pals/skills you have as well as upgrading them this will increase the overall value. This value is ATK,HP,DEF. this will give you additional Health, Attack DMG and Def by owning more pets/skills, this helps with your base attributes to get stronger.

Legend of Mushroom Appearances

Screenshot of players profile, showing a range of options and the appearance button.

You can change your appearance whether it’s your mount, artifact/character without it hindering your character by removing the extra bonusses from you. Go to your profile then select “Appearance”

Screenshot of Artifact "Webbed Chainsaw" in mobile game Legend of Mushroom.

I am going to be using artifact as an example so here you can see I have selected the “Webbed Chainsaw” Artifact.

As you can see here it says I have it equipped at the bottom however it’s telling me to use it this is because I have the appearance selected for it but not the artifact itself.

Close up screenshot of Artifact, "Webbed Chainsaw", that shows the artifact, as well as the stats / effects caused by it.

As you can see here it’s telling me to cancel the usage of the artifact but it’s not equipped at the bottom. That’s because I am using the effects of this artifact and don’t have the skin equipped.

Coins/Diamonds/Gems Explained

The coins can only be used to level up your lamp, these have no other purpose.

Gems are the currency for the game, 1 diamond = $1 which you can use to purchase items as usual instead of money.

Diamonds are important as you can spend them on a variety of things, such as event items, clock winders, coins, speed tokens, pal tickets, skill tickets and other items. Early game it is important to save these and save as many as possible. This is important because on day 4 you unlock the mount which requires clock winders to upgrade this, however it’s important to wait until day 9 because Mount Rush will be active on your server. This rush event will give you 2,000 divine hammers for every 800 clock winders you spend (8,000 hammers is the max hammers for the event). Which will give a nice boost to your base attributes from your artifact which you unlock on day 7.

Battle passes / Privileges in Legend of Mushroom

These passes are very helpful especially early game, The Level/Lamp Fund give the most rewards of the battle passes. For more information regarding the rewards that are obtainable please refer to the battle pass guide.

The most helpful Privileges is the skip ad boost. This gives a nice boost especially since it’s lifetime and you won’t need to worry about ads no more! The lifetime pass is also good too since it’s lifetime, this gives an additional key on all dungeons as well as other rewards, All passes are helpful and help in a different way, so if you would like to find out more information regarding the passes and what’s helpful to buy please refer to the battle passes guide.

Finding Gear Explained

Please navigate to the golden cog located on the right in the image below:

Legend of Mushroom Beginner Guide - image 77

Opening this cog will allow you to access various settings: Quality – This is the quality you want to obtain from rolling the lamps. Filters: If I have a Crit Rate + Combo then this will search for all gear with them 2 attributes and auto-sell the rest. This works if the gear is combo at the top and crit rate at the bottom or even crit at the top or combo at the bottom.

Examples:

Screenshot of gear "Beastmaster Belt" in Legend of Mushroom.
Screenshot of gear "Gatling Aqua Cannon" in Legend of Mushroom.

Number of lamps used at once: you want this selected as high as possible, this allows you to roll for gears until you run out of lamps, this will auto-sell all gear that doesn’t meet your criteria.
