Introduction

The Legend of Mushroom dormitory is located next to the Shroomie Farm and Parking Wars. This is a basic mechanic of Legend of Mushroom that allows you to gain rewards, both online and offline, such as gold, skills, pals, lamps, and diamonds.

Capturing System Legend of Mushroom Dormitory

Screenshot of Dormitory in Legend of Mushroom showing an Employer with no players captured.

When you have entered the Dormitory you will come to this screen. The top left of the screen dictates whether you have an “Employer” (i.e. they have beaten you in PVP and have ‘captured’ you).

In the center, you will have the players you have captured. This screenshot shows no players captured hence it says “No Retainers”.

To capture a player you should click “Go to Capture” and select from the screen of players a suitable target.

For everyone person you capture, you will receive a 10% negative debuff to Pal Damage, Attack, and Defense. You can capture up to 5 players at once, meaning you can have up to a 50% reduction in pal Damage, Attack, and Defense. Once you capture someone, you hold them for one week, unless they are able to defeat you – or they call for help, and another player ‘saves’ them by defeating you. If they manage to escape, then they will be on cooldown meaning you can not capture them again for a further 24 hours.

When capturing someone who already has an ’employer’, you must beat the employer at PVP. This means that although someone may look like an easy target, it may be much harder due to their employer defending them instead (and employers tend to be higher powered players).

If you are captured, don’t worry! You do not lose anything. It is important however that when capturing people you aim for those at a higher stage, as the higher the stage the greater rewards. Due to this, and the debuff that stacks after each capture, it is advisable to go for high stage players first, and then decrease to easier opponents as your negative debuffs start to stack.

In the slide shows below, you can see the difference in rewards before and after I capture someone. The online loot increases by 9 gold/m, and the offline loot increases by 15 gold/m. This is an increase of ~7.8%.

Dormitory offline reward showing 192 gold/m
Pre-Capture
Dormitory online reward showing 116 gold/m
Dormitory offline reward showing 207 gold/m
Post-Capture
Dormitory online reward showing 125 gold/m

Online vs. Offline Rewards in Dormitory

In the Dormitory you receive more gold offline than you do online. You can earn a maximum of up to 8 hours of offline rewards before you have to claim them or else you will stop earning any more.
