Introduction
Pals in Legend of Mushroom act as assistants within battles. You can have up to five Pals enter into battle with you, each with their own effects. There are eight rarities of Pals: Normal; Unique; Well; Rare; Mythic; Epic; Legendary; and Immortal.
Pal Effects
There are two types of Pal effects: deploy, and permanent.
The deploy effects vary massively, with each Pal having a unique effect, some effects include: increase combo damage, extend stun duration, or HP regen to name a few. You must have the Pal equipped and in battle with you to receive these effects.
The permanent effects are classified as ATK, HP, and DEF boosts which apply globally. You simply need to own the Pal for the effect to take place, and do not need to be present in the battle for you to receive the benefit.
In the image below, the area highlighted in red is the deploy effects, and the area highlighted in blue is the permanent effects.
Pals of the same type do not stack deploy effects, except from Dragons. So do not use the same type of Pals unless you are using Dragons.
How to Obtain Pals in Legend of Mushroom
Gacha Machine
There are a variety of ways to obtain Pals, although the most common is use the gacha machine located in the shop.
Here you can receive free draws every day for watching ads, or you can use Pal coupons or diamonds. The most efficient method is to use the Draw x 35 as it only costs 30 coupons (or 600 diamonds).
When you draw you will see a screen that shows you what you have won. The more Pals you draw from the machine, the higher the machines level. As the gacha machine increases in level. your chances of receiving rare Pals increase.
Pal coupons can be gained from events, quests, mining, or Lucky Wheel to name a few.
Dormitory
You can gain Pals from the Dormitory, both online and offline. The higher level of Magic Lamp you have, the more rewards you will receive in the Dormitory, and the greater the chance of higher level Pals.
Optimising Pal selection by Class Type
Below I have only included the OP Pals, the ones you should definitely seek to equip. Besides this I belief a lot of it is personal preference, as long as you follow the guidance under each class and the style of effects you should seek.
Warrior Class Pal Selection
For the warrior class you should choose Pals that buff Counter DMG, HP Regen, DMG RES and shield effects. Example Pals are below:

Archer Class Pal Selection
