Welcome to our guide to Clan Siege in Raid Shadow Legends Siege, a game mode that adds deep strategy and teamwork to the experience. Success requires not just individual skill but strong clan coordination to attack the enemy stronghold while defending your own. Capturing key locations like Mana Shrines and Defense Towers is crucial for earning points and rewards. This guide covers all the essentials—from planning offense and defense to managing resources—helping both new and experienced players master Raid Shadow Legends Siege and dominate the battlefield.

Buildings Overview

Raid Shadow Legends Stronghold

Stronghold

Each Clan Fortress starts with one Stronghold, upgradeable from Level 1 to 3, which sets the max level for other Buildings on its Layer. It boosts Defense Teams, holds 12–18 teams, and only Leaders or Deputies can activate its bonus. Capturing or defending the Stronghold is a key Siege victory condition and grants extra rewards to all Clan members.

Raid Shadow Legends Havoc Scythe

Mana Shrine

Each Clan Fortress contains two Mana Shrines, which don’t provide bonuses themselves but can benefit from bonuses granted by other buildings. Depending on their level, Mana Shrines can hold 6 to 9 Defense Teams. Capturing an enemy’s Mana Shrine or defending your own rewards all Clan Members with Mana Orbs. After a shrine is captured, Clan Members can battle the remaining Defense Teams once more to earn additional Mana Orbs.

Raid Shadow Legends Magic Tower

Magic Tower

Each Clan Fortress has 4 Magic Towers that grant bonuses to Defense Teams stationed in the tower and connected Buildings via Magic Paths. Each tower requires a unique bonus and is influenced by the Layer Bonus. Depending on its level, a Magic Tower can hold 2 to 4 Champion Teams.

Raid Shadow Legends Defense Tower

Defense Tower

Each Clan Fortress has five Defense Towers, each with unique bonuses that apply only to the Defense Teams within that specific tower. The same bonus can’t be used across multiple towers. Depending on their level, each tower can hold between 2 and 4 Defense Teams.

Raid Shadow Legends Posts

Posts

Each Clan Fortress has 18 Posts, each with 3 random Conditions from a fortress-wide pool that affect all Champions fighting there. When you assign Champions to a Post, you choose which Condition to activate. Conditions impact both defenders and attackers. Posts are influenced by Stronghold and Magic Tower Bonuses, cannot be upgraded or damaged, and hold only 1 Defense Team each.

The Importance of the Preparation Phase

Preparation Phase

Crucial Prep for a Successful Siege

The preparation phase is absolutely crucial for laying the groundwork for a successful siege in Raid Shadow Legends Siege. This critical period allows your clan to organise defences, strategise, and ensure that every aspect of the siege is well-planned before the intense battle phase begins. It is during this time that your clan can take a step back, assess its strengths, and make tactical decisions that will give it a competitive edge when the attack phase arrives. One of the primary considerations during the preparation phase is to thoroughly assess your clan’s strongest factions and champions.

Mastering Dual-Role Champions for Strategic Play

It is during this time that your clan can take a step back, assess its strengths, and make tactical decisions that will give it a competitive edge when the attack phase arrives. One of the primary considerations during the preparation phase is to thoroughly assess your clan’s strongest factions and champions.

Utilising Resources in the Preparation Phase

Florin and Mana Orbs

Florin

Florin is a key resource for upgrading and repairing your clan’s fortress, strengthening its defense and resilience during sieges. Prioritizing stronghold upgrades boosts both protection and resource generation, with benefits that last across battles, giving your clan a strategic advantage.

Mana Orbs

Mana Orbs are used on the siege map to grant temporary bonuses to your clan’s buildings or debuffs to enemies. Strategic use of Mana Orbs can boost defenses, weaken opponents, and influence the battle’s outcome. Since their effects are temporary and don’t carry over to future sieges, timing and placement are crucial for maximum impact.

The Attack Phase: Strategic Considerations

Once the battle phase commences, the focus shifts to attacking the enemy fortress while simultaneously maintaining and strengthening your own defences. This phase is where all your preparation and strategy come to fruition, and the stakes are higher than ever. The primary attack priority is always the enemy stronghold, as it serves as the heart of their defence. If you do not defeat the enemy stronghold, you cannot win the siege, regardless of how well you perform in other areas of the battlefield. This makes it critical to plan your attacks carefully and ensure that every strike is focused on weakening the enemy’s central position.

Before launching any attacks, scouting the enemy posts and stronghold is absolutely crucial. This allows your clan to gather intelligence on the strength of the defending teams and determine where your forces will be most effective. Scouting provides invaluable insight into enemy team compositions, their defensive setups, and the potential weaknesses you can exploit. This information will help your clan members decide which targets they are best equipped to handle, ensuring that no resources are wasted and every member is deployed to the most strategic position.

It is often advisable for stronger and more experienced players to target the more challenging defences first. These typically include the enemy stronghold, as well as key strategic locations like the Defence Towers and Mana Shrines, which play pivotal roles in both defence and resource management. By tackling these high-value targets early in the siege, your stronger players can weaken the enemy’s overall capacity to defend and limit their ability to counter your advances.

Meanwhile, weaker or less experienced players can focus on less heavily defended posts, where the risk is lower, but the reward of securing additional points can still make a significant impact on the overall siege score. This strategic division of targets ensures that your clan maximises its offensive potential while minimising unnecessary losses.

Additionally, timing plays a critical role in the battle phase. Coordinating attacks at optimal moments, when the enemy is most vulnerable, can make a significant difference in the outcome of the siege. For example, launching coordinated strikes on multiple fronts or following up with support from other clan members can overwhelm the enemy’s defences and disrupt their ability to respond. The synergy between offence and defence, along with careful tactical planning, is what ultimately leads to victory in Clan Siege. Each member’s role in attacking, whether focused on critical locations or auxiliary posts, contributes to the overall success of the clan.

Managing Attack Scrolls and Champions

Each clan member has a limited number of attack scrolls available for use during the battle phase, and it’s essential to use them judiciously to maximise their effectiveness. These attack scrolls are a critical resource, so careful consideration is needed to ensure they are deployed at the most opportune moments. A well-thought-out tactic is for stronger players to reserve one or two attack scrolls towards the end of the siege. By doing this, they can help break through particularly tough defences on the enemy stronghold or other critical buildings if the clan’s initial efforts fall short.

This strategy not only maximises the impact of the scrolls but also gives your clan a better chance to secure victory in the final moments of the siege, when the stakes are highest and every attack can make a difference. It’s important to wait for moments when the defences are weak, and the enemy is likely to have depleted some of their resources, ensuring that the attack scrolls can be used most effectively.

Furthermore, it is important to keep in mind that the same champion can only participate in a limited number of offensive battles per siege. This restriction means that your clan must plan its attack teams carefully to avoid exhausting key champions like Ninja too quickly. Diversifying your offensive teams and utilising a wide range of champions is essential to ensure that you have a fresh and strong team ready for each attack. By rotating champions strategically, your clan can maintain consistent pressure on the enemy throughout the siege.

Capturing Key Structures: Mana Shrines and Defence Towers

Beyond the stronghold, Mana Shrines and Defence Towers are significant targets. Capturing Mana Shrines grants your clan Mana Orbs and allows you to rematch defeated teams on the main map once without using an attack scroll. Destroying Defence Towers can weaken the enemy’s overall defensive capabilities. The posts scattered across the map also contribute to your clan’s score, and while individually they may offer fewer points than key structures, securing a wider control of the map can be advantageous. Note that all posts, regardless of their location, are worth the same number of victory points.

The Role of Rematch Scrolls

Rematch scrolls provide an important opportunity to re-attempt a failed attack, offering a second chance to break through tough defences. However, these scrolls should be used strategically rather than impulsively, as they are a limited and valuable resource. If an attack fails, it’s often beneficial to take a step back and engage in thoughtful discussion with your clanmates. Reviewing the battle can help identify potential weaknesses in the enemy’s defence, such as champions who were particularly effective or areas where your team struggled to break through.

This collaborative analysis can reveal insights into what went wrong, allowing your clan to adapt and develop new tactics for future attempts. Perhaps there was an overlooked synergetic combo or a misstep in team composition that can be corrected.

Instead of rushing to use rematch scrolls immediately on the same difficult post, it’s wise to discuss the situation with your clan to determine whether it’s worth trying again. Repeating the same attack without making adjustments can waste precious scrolls and deplete your resource pool without guaranteeing a successful outcome. Raging through rematch scrolls on a single challenging post can quickly lead to a shortage of these valuable resources, leaving your clan without the ability to reattempt other crucial battles later in the siege.

To avoid this, it’s essential to carefully weigh the likelihood of success before committing another rematch. Sometimes, it may be more effective to adjust your attack strategy by switching to a different target or focusing on an area with less formidable defences.

In addition, coordinating with your clan can help to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Discussing the best course of action and deciding as a group whether to reattempt the same battle or try a new one can help preserve rematch scrolls for the most crucial moments of the siege. Ultimately, a strategic approach to using rematch scrolls can maximize your clan’s chances of success, while preventing the needless depletion of these valuable resources. By taking the time to assess the situation and communicate with your clan, you’ll ensure that every rematch has the best chance of turning the tide in your favour.
