Introduction to Inferno Rider Echo Guide

Wuthering Waves Inferno Rider Echo Guide: The Inferno Rider is a 4-Cost Overlord Class Echo in Wuthering Waves that allows the equipped Resonator to transform into the Inferno Rider, unleashing powerful, high-damage attacks. This transformation boosts both offense and mobility, making it a strong option for clearing enemies and dealing burst damage. With high base ATK, it pairs well with DPS Resonators who benefit from enhanced Echo abilities. The Inferno Rider is obtained by defeating its corresponding Tacet Discord in high-level areas. As a 4-Cost Echo, it works best as the main Echo in an offensive-focused set.
Echo Ability

The Inferno Rider Echo lets a Resonator transform into the Inferno Rider, unleashing three consecutive Fusion DMG slashes. At Rank 5, the slashes deal 242.40%, 282.80%, and 282.80% Fusion DMG. After the final hit, the Resonator gains a 12% boost to both Fusion DMG and Basic Attack DMG for 15 seconds. By holding the Echo Skill, the Resonator enters Riding Mode for enhanced mobility, and exiting it deals 282.80% Fusion DMG to enemies in front. The skill has a 20-second cooldown and is only usable from the first Echo slot.

Sonata Effects
Inferno Rider Echo – Sonata Effect (Molten Rift)

Sonata Type: Molten Rift
The Inferno Rider Echo is classified under the Molten Rift Sonata category. To activate set bonuses, it must be paired with other Echoes of the same Sonata type.
Important Note:
Equipping multiple Inferno Rider Echoes alone does not activate Sonata Effects.
To benefit from the bonuses, your build must include other Echoes that also have the Molten Rift Resonance.
Molten Rift Sonata Effects:
2-Piece Set Bonus
Effect: Increases Fusion DMG by 10%.
Applies To: All Fusion DMG sources, including Echo Abilities, Resonance Skills, and attacks that deal Fusion DMG.
5-Piece Set Bonus
Effect: After using a Resonance Skill, increases Fusion DMG by 30% for 15 seconds.
Trigger Condition: Requires activating a Resonance Skill.
Duration: Buff lasts 15 seconds and boosts all Fusion DMG dealt during that time.
Synergy with Inferno Rider:
The Inferno Rider’s Echo Skill deals Fusion DMG through three consecutive slashes.
After the final slash, it also buffs Fusion DMG and Basic Attack DMG.
Using it within a full Molten Rift set further amplifies these effects, allowing your Resonator to reach higher damage potential in Fusion-based builds.
How to Obtain Inferno Rider Echo

The Inferno Rider Echo is obtained by defeating the Inferno Rider, an Overlord-class Tacet Discord, and absorbing its reverberation. This powerful enemy can be found in the Sea of Flames region, located within Huanglong – Port City of Guixu. After defeating the Inferno Rider, players can absorb its Echo directly. For Overlord-class Tacet Discords like this one, you can absorb the Echo without spending Waveplates, provided you choose not to claim the additional rewards after the fight. Alternatively, by spending 60 Waveplates, you can claim extra loot alongside the Echo absorption.
A variant known as The Phantom: Inferno Rider, which is a recolored cosmetic version of the Echo, can be acquired from the Depths of Illusive Realm. It is available in the Illusive Store for 750 Illusive Specimens after completing Phantom Amass V in the Depths of Illusive Realm. This cosmetic can be applied to other Inferno Rider Echoes to change their appearance.
Rewards for Defeating Inferno Rider
Defeating the Inferno Rider boss grants a variety of rewards, which differ between the first clear and subsequent clears. After the battle, you have two options: absorb the Inferno Rider Echo without spending Waveplates by skipping the reward claim, or spend 60 Waveplates to receive additional materials alongside the Echo.
On your first clear, the following rewards are granted:
Union EXP ×500

Astrite ×20

Advanced Resonance Potion ×1

Advanced Energy Core ×1

Shell Credits ×12,000
For subsequent clears, the rewards adjust based on your current Sol3 Phase and include:
Union EXP ×450
Rage Tacet Core (used for character ascension)

Medium Sealed Tube
Medium Resonance Potion
Medium Energy Core

Shell Credits
The exact quantities of some materials scale with your Sol3 Phase level. In addition to these resources, defeating the Inferno Rider allows you to absorb its Echo, which is essential for acquiring the Inferno Rider Echo.
