How to Get Dawnbound Mutation

Ensure you and your three teammates have a Sunflower plant grown or in your inventory. The Grow a Garden Dawnbound Mutation is obtainable only during the Admin-initiated Sun God Event.

Once the event begins, team up with three other players, ensuring each of you has a Sunflower. Head over to the Golden Monkey, also referred to as the Sun God, in your group. This involves entering a special zone near the Gear Shop.

All four players must simultaneously hold out and show their Sunflowers together in front of the Sun God. If done correctly, a lightning bolt will strike the flowers, causing them to glow and transform into the electric-yellow Dawnbound variant.

Some players have found success by repeatedly unequipping and equipping their Sunflower while facing the Sun God. The process can be repeated for each Sunflower you wish to mutate.

Stacking and Value

While Grow a Garden Dawnbound Mutation only applies to harvested Sunflowers, you can still stack it with other mutations to achieve even higher values. The general strategy is to allow your Sunflower to absorb other mutations through weather events or tools while it’s still planted.

Once it has accumulated several mutations, pick it up and then obtain the Dawnbound transformation.
