The Bacon Pig is a special pet designed to enhance your farming efficiency by increasing the likelihood of growing rare fruit variants. It is an uncommon pet that resembles a normal pig, but its body is covered with striped bacon patterns instead of the usual texture, making it distinctive.

Culinarian Chest
The Bacon Pig is obtained exclusively through Culinarian Chests and is a limited-time event pet available only during the Kitchen Storm Cooking Event.
The chests are expected to disappear soon after the latest update is launched.
How to Get a Culinarian Chest
Find the Rat Connoisseur NPC
This special character, introduced in the Kitchen Storm Cooking Event, can typically be found near the Cooking Pot in your garden. You need to use mutated fruits to cook meals in your Cooking Pot or Cooking Cauldron.
Once you have a mutated meal, give it to the Rat Connoisseur. He will then present you with three random rewards from a pool of 15 options.
Among the three reward options, there is approximately a 40% chance that the Rat Connoisseur will offer you a Culinarian Chest. Other potential rewards include various seeds, other pets like the Sunny-Side Chicken or Gorilla Chef, and kitchen items.
Grow a Garden Bacon Pig has a 34.5% drop chance from the Culinarian Chest. Due to this probability, you may need to acquire and open multiple chests

Grow a Garden Bacon Pig: Passive Ability
Grow a Garden Bacon Pig’s unique ability is called “Bacon Frenzy”. Every 5 to 120 seconds (or 100 seconds in some instances), the Bacon Pig emits an aura. This aura lasts for more than 15 seconds (or 15 seconds). Within a 15-stud radius, plants affected by the aura have their chances of sprouting a Fruit variant increased by more than 2x (or 2x).
As the Bacon Pig ages and levels up, its ability will activate more frequently, the variant chance multiplier will increase, and its aura range will expand. Its Bacon Frenzy ability can stack with other aura-based effects for increased farming efficiency.
