Description	Grow a Garden Ascension is a late-game feature that allows players to earn a special currency called Garden Coins.

Garden Ascension is a late-game feature in Roblox: Grow a Garden, introduced with the Fairy Update, that allows players to earn a special currency called Garden Coins.

These coins are essential for unlocking permanent upgrades and exclusive seeds.

Grow a Garden Ascension can be thought of as a Rebirth” system, but unlike traditional rebirths in other games, it generally does not reset your garden, plants, pets, or inventory.

Its primary purpose was initially to help fix the game’s economy by addressing Sheckles inflation, where players were hoarding large amounts of currency.

How to Perform Garden Ascension

Follow these steps to complete Grow a Garden Ascension:

Locate the Stall

Head to the Garden Ascension Stall, which is found in a corner of the island, typically behind where you buy and sell seeds and plants. Interact with Orson, the Coin Keeper, who manages all ascension activities.

From the menu, select “I want to Ascend”. Confirm that you have the required Sheckles (1 trillion for the first ascension, increasing by 2T for subsequent ones) and the specific fruit(s) with any necessary mutations.

Initiate and confirm the Grow a Garden Ascension. You will immediately receive your Garden Coins. Each successful ascension grants you 10 Garden Coins.

Ascension Cooldown

New Cooldown: You can now perform an ascension once every 4 hours. This is a major change from the previous 24-hour cooldown.

Grow a Garden Ascension: Requirements

To perform a Garden Ascension, you need to meet two main requirements:

Sheckles (In-Game Currency)

The first Garden ascension costs 1 trillion (1T) Sheckles. Each subsequent ascension adds 2 trillion Sheckles to the total cost. This means the cost sequence is 1T, then 3T, then 5T, 7T, and so on.

Special Fruits and Mutations

You will be required to submit one to three specific fruits, which may also need to have certain mutations. The required fruits and mutations vary per player.

Grow a Garden Ascension: Purchasable Goods

Garden Coins are a valuable currency used for permanent account upgrades and special seeds. You can spend them in the Ascension Shop and the Tier 2 Seed Shop.

Here are the available upgrades and their costs (note that upgrade prices have doubled due to the increased ease of obtaining Garden Coins, while fence prices remain the same):

To unlock seeds purchasable with Garden Coins, you need to increase your friendship with Sam, the seed merchant, by feeding him.

Grow a Garden Ascension: Recent Updates

Jandel, the developer, recently made significant changes to make ascension easier. Garden Ascension now requires easier fruits and mutations. Current update will now require fruits even without mutations.

Jandel announced that players who ascended with the old system will get a good reward on weekend (September 13, 2025) since it was much harder. The exact reward has not yet been specified.
