Introduction to Age of Empires Mobile Update 1.3

The conquest season is finally here, and the battles for supremacy are about to begin! With the latest update, we’re getting some exciting new alliance events, including The Mightiest Empire, where two factions clash for control over the Imperial City, and Marauder Hunt, a fast-paced challenge to eliminate waves of enemies for rewards.

The update also brings several optimizations, like improved hero tutorials, better alliance war mechanics, and new items in the VIP store. Plus, a bug fix for Diao Chan’s talent nodes means reallocations are needed. The servers will be down for maintenance on December 11, 2024, from 07:00 to 10:00 (UTC+0), but we’ll get compensation via in-game mail and a 1-hour Peace Shield. Don’t forget to update to version 1.3.101.11 to claim rewards and experience all the new content. Time to rally the alliance, sharpen our strategies, and prepare for war!

New Alliance Event: The Mightiest Empire

A new alliance event, The Mightiest Empire, is here, and it’s all about a massive showdown between two empires fighting for control over the Imperial City! The event unfolds in four stages:

Matchmaking (24h): This is where we get matched against another empire. We can check event rules, see our opponents, and preview some of the rewards.

Preparation: Time to grind! By completing activities in our empire, we earn points—both personal and alliance-wide. The empire with the most points will become the invaders, deciding when the war kicks off.

War: This is where the real action begins. We can teleport near the invasion camp and fight on the enemy’s map. The ultimate battle happens in the Imperial City—if the invaders win, their chosen king will rule both empires. If the defenders hold strong, they keep their empire, while the invaders are left without a ruler.

Recovery: After the war, we can recover lost units. The final rankings are determined by total empire points, and all participants will receive rewards via in-game mail.

New alliance Event: Marauder Hunt

A new alliance event, Marauder Hunt, is here—time to take down waves of enemies and claim their loot! In this event, marauders will swarm towards our citadels, and it’s up to us to eliminate as many as possible to rack up points and earn rewards. The more we take down, the better the spoils!

This event runs biweekly after its first launch, and our alliance leaders or officials can start it anytime during the designated opening hours. Get ready to fend off the invasion and prove who the real hunters are! For more info, check out on this link!

Optimizations

  • Improved the way Hero Tutorials are displayed.
  • Enhanced the overall experience of hero advancement.
  • Refined the visuals and effects of certain battles in Alliance War.
  • Made improvements to the Supplies Bounty experience.
  • Adjusted the point calculation for elimination and siege when first capturing Lv.3, Lv.5, and Lv.7 cities, mountain forts, and river crossings.
  • Updated the display and contents of Daily Special packs while keeping their total value unchanged.
  • Added new items to the VIP store, including gems and gear-related items.
  • Improved the contents of the free Daily Pack in Value Packs.
  • Introduced new alliance membership settings, allowing leaders and officials to set minimum town center level and power requirements for applicants.

Bug Fix

  • Fixed the abnormal talent nodes of Diao Chan. Diao Chan’s second talent node is now Strategic Preparation, and the fourth node is Form the Ranks. Governors who have allocated talent points need to reallocate.
