The devs are rolling out new content and optimizations starting next season. I’ve broken everything down so you know exactly what to expect and how to prepare.

New Content

1. Desolate Desert (New Alliance Event)

• Format: 3–4 empires of similar strength will be matched.
• Map: Waste Land, with the central Aaru Palace as the final goal.
• Objective: Reach the palace and compete in the showdown.
• Rewards: Ranking is based on points earned during the event, with generous prizes for top performers.

2. War Supplies (Golden Expedition)

• New System: Units lost in the War Stage now give you Military Funds.
• Usage: Exchange funds in the Store for recovery items and boosts.

3. Golden Guardian (New Monster)

• Spawn: Appears on both empire maps during Golden Expedition.
• Rewards: Defeat them to earn points + additional loot.

Golden Expedition Schedule

• Preview Stage: Mon 00:00 – Tue 24:00
• Matchmaking Stage: Wed 00:00 – 24:00
• War Stage: Thu 00:00 – Fri 24:00
• Recovery Stage: Sat 00:00 – Mon 24:00

Golden Expedition Gameplay Tweaks

• Golden War Elephants: Damage now converts into more points, plus participation rewards.
• Kingsland Map: Cross-border relocation areas rebalanced for fairer combat flow.

Event Rotation Adjustments

Initial Season

• Alternating Events:
  • Golden Expedition ↔ Mightiest Empire
  • Wonder Contests ↔ Battle of Dawn

Regular Season

• Event Order:
  • Golden Expedition → Mightiest Empire → Golden Expedition → Mightiest Empire → Desolate Desert
• Alternating Events: Wonder Contests ↔ Battle of Dawn

Marauder Hunt

• Now runs on weeks 2, 4, and 6 (Mon 00:00 – Fri 12:00).

Mightiest Governor

• Initial Season: Weeks 2, 4, 6
• Regular Season: Weeks 1, 3, 5
• Note: If your empire just entered a regular season, the first week won’t have the event to prevent back-to-back overlap.

Other Adjustments

• Mightiest Empire: Occupying the Imperial City now has a more balanced point calculation.
• Event Calendar: Weekly display adjusted—check the Event Center for exact timings.
