Clash Royale March Balance Changes

NERFS

Arrows

Radius: 4 tiles → 3.5 tiles (-13%)

Arrows typically cause unintended damage to Crown Towers while targeting Troops, unlike other Spells which require more precise targeting—usually hitting either Troops or Towers, but not both. We’re reducing Arrows’ radius to minimize this incidental damage. Check our full guide here!

The Log

Crown Tower Damage: 58 → 44 (-24%)

Just like with Arrows, we’re reducing The Log’s Crown Tower damage to lessen the incidental damage it causes during a match. Explore the guide here!

Cannon

Hit Speed: 0.9s → 1.0s (-11%)

The Cannon has been a dominant force for several seasons. We’re slowing its attack speed to maintain its role as a distraction while allowing other defensive buildings to be more impactful. See the full guide here!

Rage

Rage Duration (after leaving the area): 2s → 1s (-50%)

Previously, Troops would stay buffed for up to 2 seconds after leaving the Rage zone. This change makes the interaction more intuitive and helps balance the Rage Spell and Lumberjack Evolution. Explore the entire guide here!

Rune Giant

Hitpoints: 2803 → 2508 (-11%)

Enchantment Duration After Rune Giant’s Destruction: ∞ → 5s

We’re working to achieve the right balance for the Rune Giant. Previously, the Enchantment was too weak when it ended immediately upon the Rune Giant’s destruction, and too strong when it lasted indefinitely. Now, the Enchantment will stay active for 5 seconds after the Rune Giant is destroyed. Check out the full breakdown here!

BUFFS

Electro Wizard

Damage: 110 → 116 (+5%)

The Electro Wizard is turning up the voltage! He can now zap Spirits out of existence with both of his attacks. Dive into the guide here!

Giant Snowball Evolution

Slowdown Duration: 3s → 4s (+33%)

The Giant Snowball Evolution needed a buff to stay competitive with other Evolutions. With the extended slowdown duration, it will now be more effective, even against Buildings. Discover the guide here!

Royal Chef

Cooking Time: 24s-40s → 21s-35s (-13%)

The Royal Chef was hit too hard in the last balance update, so we’re partially reversing some of those changes. Learn more in the guide here!

REWORK

Princess

Deploy Time: 1.0s → 1.2s (+20%)
First Hit Speed: 0.5s → 0.3s (-40%)

For players with higher latency, it was difficult to intercept Princess with Troops and Buildings when she was placed at the bridge. By increasing her Deploy Time and decreasing her First Hit Speed, she’ll be easier to distract at the bridge while also gaining a boost to her defensive effectiveness. Check out guide here!

Strike Interval: 1.3s → 1.0s (-23%)

Void is currently weaker than other Spells, so we’re reducing the time between its strikes and shortening its overall duration to ensure it consistently hits its intended targets. Check out the complete guide here!
