Grow a Garden Trading Update [Patch 1.17.0] is Finally Here!

Greetings, Gardeners! We’re thrilled to announce the long-awaited Trading Update (Patch 1.17.0) for Roblox: Grow a Garden, officially released on August 2, 2025!

This massive update introduces a highly anticipated trading system, eliminating the risk of scams and adding a fresh layer of interaction to your gameplay.

Beyond trading, you’ll discover a brand-new cooking event, new seeds, pets, items, and various quality-of-life improvements.

The New Trading System

The core of this update is the ability to safely exchange items and currency with other players. No more relying on risky gifting!

Trading Ticket

To initiate a trade, you’ll need a Trading Ticket. This uncommon gear item can be purchased from the Gear Shop for 100,000 Sheckles or 19 Robux. For more details about this new gear item, click here.

Cooking Event with Chris P. Bacon

A major addition alongside trading is the Cooking Event, featuring the hungry Chris P. Bacon. You’ll toss plants into a large pot to discover various meals and meet Chris P.’s cravings.

Rewards are based on the meal’s size and rarity. Meeting cravings can lead to even rarer rewards. This event allows you to unlock new seeds, pets, and gear.

Key craftable items from the Cooking Event include:

Gourmet Egg		Contains new pets like Bagel Bunny (50%), Pancake Mole (38%), Sushi Bear (7%), Spaghetti Sloth (4%), and French Fry Ferret (1%).
Pancake Stack		It is a Prismatic-tier cosmetic that brieflly attracts pets.
Food Crate		Contains 7 possible cosmetics, including Pink Cake (25%), Blue Cake (25%), Coffee Machine (20%), Banana Hammock (15%), Hotdog Cart (6%), Cheese Mat (6%), and Golden Hotdog Statue (3%).
