The Trading Ticket is a crucial item that enables player-to-player trading in Grow a Garden. This feature was highly anticipated by players as it helps prevent scamming and pet theft.

The primary function of the Trading Ticket is to allow trading with other players in the game. It is classified as an Uncommon gear item.

The ticket resembles a real-life ticket, featuring a pink base color with a black square and a yellow star in the middle. The Trading Ticket can be purchased for 100,000 Sheckles or 19 Robux.

How to Obtain Grow a Garden Trading Ticket

You can purchase the Grow a Garden Trading Ticket from the Gear Shop, which is located at the end of the map and is near other shops like the Pet Eggs Shop and Cosmetics Shop.

The Gear Shop’s stock is consistent across all servers and resets every 5 minutes. Grow a Garden Trading Ticket is not always in stock and will only appear sometimes. It might appear approximately every two restocks, often with only one or two available.

The Trading Ticket was added to the game on August 2nd as part of the Cooking Update. There has been some debate regarding its cost and rarity, and it’s possible its availability rates could be adjusted if it’s considered too rare.

How to Use Grow a Garden Trading Ticket

You must have a Trading Ticket to initiate a trade within the game. Crucially, only one player needs to possess a Trading Ticket to facilitate a trade. If you wish to propose a trade to another player, you will need to be the one with the ticket.

Each Trading Ticket allows for one single trade, regardless of how many items are included in that specific transaction. It is advisable to stock up on these tickets.

Initiating a Trade

1. After purchasing, locate the ticket in your “Gear” tab within your inventory.
2. Click the Trading Ticket to hold it in your hand.
3. Walk up to the player you intend to trade with.
4. A prompt will appear, asking if you want to “send a trade request”.
5. Hold down the ‘E’ key to send the trade request.

Responding to a Trade Request

1. When someone sends you a trade request, a rectangular pop-up message will appear on the right side of your screen.
2. You will have the option to either decline or accept the trade. Declining will notify the other player.

If you accept the trade, a dedicated trading window will open. Your items intended for trade will be displayed on the left side, while the other player’s proposed items will be on the right.

The top of the trading window may also show the total value of your trade. Within the trade window, your inventory will simplify to show only “pets” and “fruits” tabs, concealing other tabs to prevent confusion.

Grow a Garden Trading Ticket: Tradable Items

• You can add any pets from your inventory.
• You can add any fruits, flowers, or picked crops.
• You can also add Sheckles to a trade by clicking an orange button for each player and manually typing in the desired amount.

When items are added, the trade window provides details such as the item’s weight, age, mutations, cost, name, and a photo.

Note: Players CANNOT trade gear items, seeds, or eggs.

After both players have added their desired items, they must both press “accept”. There is a brief cooldown period to allow for consideration before accepting.

The system will then display a message indicating “waiting for both players to confirm”. Following the initial acceptance, a “confirm” button will appear. Both players must wait and then press this button again to finalize the trade, serving as a “second set of security”.

A message stating “Your trade is processing, please wait” will appear. The trade is officially complete when you see the “Trade completed” message.
