The Cracked Mutation is a new crop mutation in Roblox: Grow a Garden, introduced as part of the Fairy World update.
Grow a Garden Cracked Mutation is a standard mutation that gives crops a distinctive cracked texture on their surface. This visual effect is often accompanied by small earth-like particles emitting from the plant.
How to Get Grow a Garden Cracked Mutation
Earthquake Event
The Cracked Mutation is exclusively tied to the Earthquake event.
When an Earthquake occurs, the ground in your garden will shake and form visible cracks across the island. This dramatic visual shift affects the entire island.
During or immediately after the Earthquake event, random crops in your garden have a chance to get Cracked Mutation. It’s not guaranteed for every crop, but the odds are significantly higher during the event.
Badger
The Badger is a rare pet obtainable from the Fall Egg during the Fall Market Event.
Its unique passive ability, “Earthquake Excavator,” allows it to occasionally dig around and spread mud, which has a chance to mutate nearby fruits with Cracked.
The Badger specifically applies the Cracked Mutation (with its 4x multiplier) every 5 minutes. This provides a consistent way to obtain the mutation outside of waiting for the natural Earthquake event.
Grow a Garden Cracked Mutation: Value Multiplier
When a crop receives the Cracked Mutation, its selling price is increased by a x4 multiplier. This makes it a moderately valuable upgrade for maximizing profits.
Notably, all multipliers from mutations, including Cracked, are stackable with other mutations, potentially leading to much higher sale values.
