The French Fry Ferret is a ferret pet characterized by a red bag of yellow French Fries on its head. The French Fries packet features a yellow letter “G”, likely referencing the word “Gourmet,” which is central to the event it is obtainable in. It could mean “Grow a Garden” too.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden French Fry Ferret
Gourmet Egg
You can obtain the French Fry Ferret by hatching it from a Gourmet Egg. The odds of hatching a French Fry Ferret from a Gourmet Egg are typically stated as 1%.
To acquire Gourmet Eggs, you must participate in the Cooking Event. This involves cooking specific meals for Chris P. Bacon, a critter chef NPC.
The event objective, or Chris P.’s food craving, rotates every hour. You use the Cooking Pot to craft food with various crops, fruits, and plants. Discovering better and rarer recipes will yield better rewards, including the Gourmet Egg.
Giving Chris P. Bacon the exact food he is craving increases your chances of acquiring rarer rewards like the Gourmet Egg. Using bigger harvested crops will result in bigger food items and more rewards. Prismatic food items, which often involve prismatic crops and bone blossoms, increase the chances of high-tier rewards.
Grow a Garden French Fry Ferret Passive Ability
The French Fry Ferret’s unique trait is called “Friendly Frier”. It increases a random pet’s level by 1. This ability provides the required amount of XP for the pet to level up (e.g., from level 49 with 2,000 XP to level 50 with 0 XP).
This ability cannot be mimicked or refreshed by other pets. It also appears that it cannot be affected by cooldown benefits from other pets.
