The Galactic mutation is a unique transformation for your crops in Grow a Garden that enhances their value. When a crop gains the Galactic mutation, it will appear light purple or pink, with some areas appearing neon, and it will glimmer with pink sparkles.
How to Obtain Grow a Garden Galactic Mutation
Space Travel
To obtain the Galactic mutation in Roblox: Grow a Garden, you need to experience the Space Travel weather event. Grow a Garden Galactic Mutation is considered an “out-of-this-world” mutation due to its space-themed nature.
The Space Travel event is a distinct weather phenomenon in Grow a Garden. During this event your garden plots will transform into a spaceship, complete with engines appearing near the Seed Shop, and you will be blasted off into space. The sky will fill with stars and purple asteroids.
Your gardens will experience low gravity, allowing you to jump high into the sky, similar to a Black Hole event. You can even jump to areas usually out of bounds, such as across a series of asteroids. Plant growth speed is increased by 75%.
Grow a Garden Galactic Mutation has a significant multiplier for your crop’s sale value. Some players indicate a multiplier of x4, based on a Galactic Tomato selling for 2,708 Sheckles compared to a base price of 800. Other players state the Galactic mutation has a x100 – x120 multiplier.
All known Space Travel events were triggered by game administrators or developers. It is not confirmed if it will always be an admin-spawned event, so you should keep an eye on the skies. Your best chance to experience a Space Travel event is to join Grow a Garden about an hour before an update is scheduled to drop, as admins often run special weather events during this build-up period.
