The Moth is a Legendary pet in Roblox: Grow a Garden that offers a unique and highly beneficial passive ability, primarily focused on sustaining your other pets. It was introduced with the Friendship Update on June 7th, 2025. It is considered a strong “support pet” due to its ability to help maintain other pets.

Grow a Garden Moth is described as having a white and gray body with clear wings, antennae, and legs, and eye markings that resemble sunglasses. Another description notes it as light blue with large black square eyes, a small smiling mouth, short black antennae, six stubby legs, and long translucent wings, resembling a grey variant of a honeybee. Its hunger stat is 25,000.
How to Obtain the Grow a Garden Moth

Anti Bee Egg
The primary way to obtain a Moth is by hatching an Anti Bee Egg. The chance of hatching a Grow a Garden Moth from an Anti Bee Egg is 13.75%.
Initially, you can craft these eggs at the Bizzy Bear. The crafting recipe requires 1 Bee Egg and 25 Honey. In the current patch, players can craft Anti Bee Egg at the crafting table with the same recipe.

During the Bizzy Bee Event, Anti Bee Eggs were also available for Robux, costing 149 Robux for one egg, 429 Robux for three, or 1269 Robux for ten.
Crafting Anti Bee Egg

Currently, the only way to acquire the Anti Bee Egg is by crafting it at the Crafting Table. The crafting recipe requires 1 Bee Egg and 25 Honey. To get Honey, players need to trade pollinated plants that weigh over 10kg at the Honey Merchant (Onett NPC). Players can also purchase it with 149 Robux.
Grow a Garden Moth: Passive Ability
The Moth’s unique passive ability is called “Silk Song”. Every 12-13 minutes, the Moth will sing to a random active pet in your garden and restore its hunger to 100%. This ability is considered “overpowered” because it helps keep your pets’ hunger bars filled, which is crucial for them to continue gaining experience and aging up.
As pets age, their traits improve, generally by reducing cooldowns or increasing success chances. Grow a Garden Moth saves you the time and crops that would otherwise be spent manually feeding your pets.
